I love this concept. I drive a pickup. I hate that I hold my phone for directions and other things. I really try to do better. None of the markets current phone holders are positioned in a way that I find easy to use and adjust. This one looked perfect for my needs. High enough that I could keep my peripheral eyes on the road while still making minor adjustments. Sturdy enough to handle hard bumps without jarring or dripping the phone. Alas, having a column shifter is the drawback here. I was so pleased when this arrive and ran out to install it. So great. Super sturdy. Positioned correctly for my needs. Then. Bam ! Column shifter hits it when shifting. Damn ! Move to the left side ? Foiled again- turn signal ! Love the idea. Just not the execution. Back to the old drawing board for me. ... show more

I have been using the phone mount daily for the last two weeks and been satisfied by the quality and performance of it. The hook clip secures the mount firmly on the car vent, either vertically or horizontally, and stays secured until you decide to remove it. I have a heavy phone with case so I went with the mouth that attaches to the back of vent louver. I like that you can aim the holder up and then tighten so it doesn't sag or drop to a lower lever.
