Good information but I expected more things for the amount I paid. the printing is so cheap I was expecting something better for this price. The images all in black and white and you can see how the printing is so bad. Unfortunately I can't return it it will cost me more than double the price and in my opinion the book is over price already ... show more

The title of this is very misleading. What a waste of money. Between the run on sentences, misspelled words, words missing, all black and white pages, lists of project ideas that are a few words (helpful how?), and the repetition of numerous things was so pointless. If you want a book that will show you how to master your machine, this is not it. It is a book that discusses the characteristics of the various models. It tells what accessories are needed for each model. It shows various projects that can be made. The title "The Most Complete Guide to Master Your Cricut Machine" is misleading. I hate to write negative reviews, but this book, in its current edition, is terrible for many reasons. In short, it is a self-print Amazon book by the Author who had no graphics experience and no editor, but has an obvious passion for Cricut and wants to share that knowledge. I think if she takes the information into a 2nd edition, with good editing, aethetically pleasing graphics, and real example photos, this book could potentially redeem itself. As it currently stands, however, it's really terrible and I don't understand the high reviews. Here's what you're going to get: 1- A textbook-like workbook with only a couple of black and white photos in the entire book. It is aesthetically mind-numbing for a How-To book. The multiple fonts are distracting and the lack of visual appeal is a big letdown. 2- The paper material is that of a grade school workbook or 1980s coloring book. Makes me want to grab my Crayolas and give it some color! 3- The overall writing style is passive language, which gets extremely wordy. Further, the numerous grammatical problems may be a result of translation errors, but I'm not sure. A good editor would have been a beneficial asset. Sorry, but I am returning this one. ... show more

I decided to return this book and ordered another which included a log of illustrations and it was in color as well. The other book cost less too.
