A Good Choice for Adding Bluetooth to Your Audio System Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 stars This Bluetooth Aux Receiver is a compact device that allows you to add Bluetooth functionality to your car stereo, home stereo, wired headphones, or any other device with a 3.5mm aux port. I've been using it for awhile now, and I'm overall very atisfied with its performance and features. Pro - Easy pairing: The receiver pairs easily with any Bluetooth device, such as your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. I was able to connect my phone in seconds without any problems. Pro - Long battery life: The receiver advertises a 17-hour battery life. I haven't needed it for 17 hours but it lasted be as long as I needed it to, which was at least 10-12 hours. Pro - Small: The receiver is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry in a pants pocket or laptop bag pocket. I keep it in my house, but I can also easily use it with my headphones. Pro - Clear sound quality: The sound quality is excellent, with no noticeable lag or distortion. I've used it for listening to music, watching videos, and even making phone calls, and the audio has always been clear. Pro - Multi-function buttons: The receiver has multi-function buttons that allow you to play/pause music, adjust the volume, and even answer phone calls. This is a great feature that makes it easy to control your music without having to touch your phone. Pro - Automatic reconnection: The receiver automatically reconnects to the last paired device when you turn it on. Minor Con - No on-screen display: This means you can't see the battery level or other information on the receiver itself. However, you can usually see this information on your phone or other paired device. Overall: I'm happy with this Bluetooth 5.0 Aux Receiver for what it's designed for - a portable Bluetooth receiver meant to run on battery. This device was tested by connecting my Galaxy S22+ phone and a Dell laptop to powered speakers that are not Bluetooth. The device connects to both the phone and laptop at the same time but plays audio from only one at a time. This works well in that when one audio source is active it holds the connection until that audio stream is paused. Then the the other audio stream can take over. The device will shut down if no audio is broadcast for 10 minutes. The device was tested while being connected to Creative T40 desktop speakers. The sound quality was better than expected for the price point. On a single charge I listened to audio for a few hours a day over the course of a few days and the battery is indicating 50% remaining charge. The device does not have a charge indicator but it can be seen when connected to a computer by Bluetooth in the device tray. The reported battery life turned out to be inaccurate, as 10 minutes after seeing the 50% remaining life, the product ran out of power. The Bluetooth range tested in excess of the advertised 35 feet of range. One significant issue was a very noticeable audio/video sync issue that happened when connected with the S22+ phone. When watching Netflix or YouTubeTV, the audio was always out of sync. This doesn't happen when using ear buds connected to the phone. And there wasn't an audio / video sync issue with device when playing media from the laptop. I wasn't able to root cause the audio / video sync issue with the phone.

I have only used this product for 1 day. I will update my review as needed. The product is small and about the size of my finger. Which is nice, since it remains hidden in my car. It is also very easy to use. You just plug it into your car and connect via Bluetooth. You can listen to music, answer call without picking up your phone. However, the button to adjust the volume and Multi-function button to call people is hard to press since my AUX input is far away. And unfortunately you cannot adjust using voice commands. This is the only con regarding this device

I'll start off by saying that this bluetooth adapter works just fine. It does everything that it claims to in the listing. However, the sound quality is reflective of the price. Upon startup, you are greeted with a voice saying "Power On" in a very low-fi, almost bit-crushed sound, which is a bit off putting but common on low-end bluetooth devices. Additionally, the actual sound during music playback lacks the high treble extension that a wired or high-fidelity bluetooth connection would provide. With nothing playing, there is an audible noise floor hiss, though it's not as bad as some other cheap bluetooth devices I've used. With this in mind, I think this adapter will be fine to use on the road as a bluetooth adapter for your car. Road noise will mask any treble loss or noise floor. It's lightweight and compact, so wouldn't be intrusive. The fact that it has a battery is a bit of a double-edged sword: it frees up a charging port if you don't have enough, but you need to manually disconnect when you exit the car or else it keeps playing, as if the car is still running. On the other hand, I don't recommend this for use at home, if you for example want to adapt a piece of hardware to your headphones and get up to move around. There are better options for fidelity, which you will find a noticeable difference at home.

I had a need to play audio via Bluetooth (with my phone) in my 2006 RX400h. I found a converter box that ties into the factory radio that has a "aux in" port. I was able to wire up the 3.5mm cable from this Bluetooth converter, and the whole system worked amazingly. I highly recommend this unit. Note: This car had no aux input
