Even though this is advertised as a poster, it is the size of a sheet of notebook paper. However, it is a very useful quick reference and I personally prefer a smaller sized sheet to have in front of me instead of a large poster to hang on the wall. There is a map of the fret board notes, the flats and sharps are not mapped, but knowing the very basics of music theory, you will know where a note's flat or sharp is quickly. The chords shown also do not include the flat and sharp chords, for that this would require a bigger reference sheet ("poster"). however, 56 chords is still a lot of chords.. on the back is all the key signatures mapped as the circle of fifths. overall, this is a standard reference that would be useful for a lot of guitarists. ... show more

It’s not a matter of whether this product is a 1 star or a 5 star, what matters is whether you sit down with your kid and go through these chords and especially the theory on the flip side, and teach them. If it sits under a pile of clothes on his dresser, that it’s a 1star. But it’s your fault. You didn’t connect. Very well laid out, simple to follow on the chord side. The reverse has the circle of 5ths and 4ths in a very easy to read layout. Circle of 5ths and 4ths can be challenging to understand how to apply, but once you get it, it makes sense. Love the note annotations under each chord as this will help anyone figure out a solo depending on the key if your new at solos.
