Purchased this unit in Sept 2023, and hooked it up to my car Aug 2024 (first time hook up), the unit malfunctioned without blowing any fuses in the inverter. Contacted Seller, answered their troubleshooting questions/sent photos of the inside of the unit, and they immediately sent a replacement unit which was hooked up last night to my car and functioned flawlessly. I installed this in a work truck and added an 8d tractor battery. This inverter runs my belt drive air compressor and Lincoln 140a wire welder at the same time. I can power everything. Camper ac units, tools, lights.. This unit sits in high heat in my truck but has been working great. Oh, it didn't come with the remote and cord. Didn't bother me. Pass on this 5,000 watt sine inverter. Do not waste your time and your equipment by using this. While the price may seem attractive, you are getting what you pay for, especially when it comes to build quality. First off, only one of four sockets work. Let that sink in, only ONE works. On top of that, when turning the device off, it doesn’t always actually turn it off, which is a HUGE safety concern. After several troubleshooting attempts I decided to open up the inverter to take a look inside incase there was a blown fuse since they at least send replacement fuses, seems like they anticipate consumers having issues. To my surprise the soldering work connecting the power sockets to the internal board broke apart either upon arrival or was just carelessly missed by their quality team, that’s if they even have one. I had high hopes with this device since I bought a 3,000 watt sine wave inverter from the same company before (proof in the picture) but the quality is so bad that it’s laughable. I purchased the 3000 watt unit to provide emergency backup power for an oxygen maching. I use it on a daily basis to power some led lights on timers and occasionally power a 1000 watt heater or run a 1500 watt water boost pump. It has works fine for me. I have applied various loads to my unit over the last couple of months and it seems to work fine. I don't over load it, but I have applied combined loads up to about 2500 watts with no problems. I have been monitoring it using a Kill-a-watt meter and the power appears to be of acceptable quality ~118V) and consistantancy (60 hz). It has been running 24-7 for several months with no problems. My unit has a relatively low no-load idle power draw of about .2 Amps which helps out on overcast days when my solar panels output is low. My battery bank is sized to supply sufficient power to meet my minimal needs for about 3 days off a full charge without dropping below 11.7 volts. Afterall, this unit's primary mission is to provide backup emergency power. I use it to power the lights and stuff so I get value out of my system on a daily basis. Right now, it powers all my outdoor Christmas lights for 5 hours per night.... The only complaint that I have is that the DC power cables provided were too small for my application, I replaced them with 00 copper cables during the intial install and never unwrapped the light duty ones they provided. The installation instructions are not specific enough about this issue. They supply 2 red and 2 black battery cables, and both need to be attached to the dual set of posts on the back of the inverter and to the battery. I assumed the second set was for dual batteries, which would work, but I was wrong. I discovered this by default. I only attached 1 set of cables to 1 battery and every time I applied a load over 1200 watts the inverter went into undercurrent/overload mode, started beeping and the input voltage dropped down to 10+ volts even though the vehicle was putting out 14+ volts. The cables to the battery got extremely hot and I had to shut it down to avoid damage. Once I used both sets of cables the issue was resolved. ... show more

Hey all......Matthew here from Santa Paula, CA. I just recently bought this 12-volt d.c 5000-watt power inverter, to handle most of my power requirements if ever I should lose 110 a/c this is my backup. So I have it connected to a large waterproof solar panel which is also portable I also bought it from Amazon and connected the solar panel, and d.c inverter to a 12 volt D.C 700 amp CCA car battery to act as a backup of power when I lose a/c power. Was looking for a higher wattage inverter that I didn't have to worry about damaging equipment, but wouldn't break my wallet either. Learned the hard way with a 2000W "modified" sine inverter that fried some stuff of mine. This SL Euthtion 3000W one looked like it would fit my needs, so decided to give it a try. I received the inverter and hooked it up to my o-scope to look at its output. Tested unloaded and loaded up to about 1600W so far (I didn't have anything handy to load beyond 1600W at the time). The SL Euthtion put out a VERY nice sine wave (pic with smooth waveform) loaded and unloaded. I successfully ran with no issues the same type equipment that my old modified sine inverter fried before (pic with squarewave waveform). No comparison between the two. The SL wins hands down. The remote is a nice feature, but honestly I was looking for beefy but clean power all at a good price. This 3000W inverter provides both at a really great value. Pretty darn sweet!! ... show more

We live off grid, use one of these daily. It lasted about 45 days before dying. We tried switching the fuses, but it never would come on again. Sent it back and got a refund from Amazon.
