I have purchased 4 different inverters this year as I have been building my family emergency backup powerstations. This brand is now my go to. I have purchased two of them most recently the 2000w inverter and it is durable. Puts out a constant 119/120 VAC, runs extremely cool (once you upgrade the terminal cables to at least 2 gauge). You can tell it is made with quality materials as it is heavier than the other 2000w inverters that I bought. Trust me do not go cheap on an inverter as it will fail so, I paid a little more and am extremely happy with this brand. Fan is quiet and it is a pure sine wave. Runs my microwave better than another inverter that I have, and is true 2000w. If anything fails, trust me I will update my rating. However, I would highly recommend this as you will not be disappointed.

All together this is a pretty good inverter. It is bigger than it looks and kind of heavy too which I suppose is a good sign. It seems like a quality build in that everything is put together tightly and neatly. It had no problem powering some larger items that I have. Eventually I'll be using this with solar panels. As far as the remote control goes, I haven't quite figured out how to use that yet. When I press the power button on the remote to turn the unit off, the screen remains on even though the rest of it seems off. This actually consumes energy so I'm really not quite sure if I'm doing something wrong or if the remote is just designed to work that way. I suppose I'll figure that out over time.

I needed an inverter to run a window AC unit i'm going to be putting in the back of my truck to keep the dogs cool in the summer in the camper shell, I needed a decent inverter that could handle the startup current of a 5000 BTU unit. I originally bought a Jupiter 2000/4000 modified sine inverter, it worked, but the AC unit buzzed pretty noticeably. I decided to get a pure sine inverter, but the Jupiter pure sine is more than I wanted to spend. I found this one here on Amazon and because it had decent ratings, I decided to give it a try. I am running it off of 2 AGM batteries that are rated at 92 Ah each, with 2 ga cables. I did a test run in the garage to see how it would do, I was pleasantly surprised. It handled the AC unit without any trouble, the cooling fans didn't even come on until it had been running for several minutes. The running draw is only about 400 watts, but the startup wattage was what I was concerned with. The compressor came on with no hesitation, no buzzing noise. I then decided to see if it could produce the advertised wattage, so I plugged in an 1850 watt heat gun and cranked it to high, was running right about 1945 watts with no issues whatsoever. The current draw from the batteries is quite high at full power though, so I did connect a charger on 200 A setting to make sure the inverter had the correct input voltage. I am happy with this unit, now I have to install it in the truck and wait for summer to see how it does then, I will update review if anything changes.

Great budget inverter, works well with my small solar panel, array I use for back up. I wish the screen was on the top, or offered a model like that because it would be easier to see the way I have it mounted. That sounds like a personal problem, though, it does not take away from the product and it works great!

works when it feels like installed it with thick cables running directly to battery and grounded it bolted it to the frame of the vehicle i even start the van while trying to use it for a vaccuum cleaner only and it works every now and then im pissed because im past the return time allowed junk

3000w unit powered up and ran as expected. Out of the box, I used a single 12v 62aH sealed, lead-acid battery to test a 1200w load and had no issues. Ultimately, I expect to power a 1500w+ rooftop AC and the 120v lighting/outlets in my coach, which will be the ultimate test of its durability. The main display is clear and gives you the basic usage readout in an organized fashion. The remote switch is my only complaint after first impression. It can be annoying. The button cycles power if you barely touch it, long before you feel it click to latch on or off. If you graze the button accidentally, it will cycle power on and/or off. Also frustrating is that you have to turn the unit off with the original switch you used to turn it on, meaning you can’t flip it off at the inverter if you turned it on remotely (and vice versa) without unplugging the switch first. Finally, if the inverter is on but you want the switch display to be totally off, you’re out of luck. The battery meter goes off but the voltage display simply changes to read 0.0v and a bright, blue light indicating power on the main unit shines on. It’s rather bright even when the remote is “off” but it’s VERY bright when it’s on. The blue indicator I can see a value in having, but if the voltage display must remain on anyway, why not have it read the actual voltage instead of 0.0v? All that said, for the price, I can deal with the remote switch issues as long as the main unit keeps performing. It’s a good deal if it does, plus the unit is nice and sleek, with an appealing look.
