Never reach 2000W stay near 1500 , timer and sensor just work ok. A little pricey for the 1500W Perfomance any question fell free to doit

The plastic top melted and caught fire when I started it. There’s a little sticker on it (not on the instructions) that says not to start it until fully immersed in water, so operator error. Still the plastic too shouldn’t catch fire. I bought it because it had a metal surround. Didn’t realize the top was plastic. Too cheap materials. Oh well. Don’t buy this one. It worked fairly well in my small hot tub. You would think the controller would be somewhat water resistant. Unfortunately it rained and the controller must’ve gotten wet, and now no longer works rendering my heater useless.
