The net itself has no stability to it. The stability is all in how you use it. We used some metal poles and created a back net catcher for the basketball hoop. If the ball hits the net, it will keep the ball from going over the fence. The net has good bounce to it, and pushes balls back pretty easily. It has held up well.

Overall very sturdy. The nylon netting is thick, durable and appears well make. Glad it is such a large size as it has been great as backup to a pitching net to prevent errant balls from doing damage in the driveway.

I use this net to turn a large section of our backyard into a catio. It works great for that. It is sturdy enough that the cats cannot get through it at all. Affordable enough to do large sections of the backyard. Light and easy enough to hang. The dimensions listed are the size of the actual net. And it has a bit of stretch to it so you can actually get it to go a bit wider than that, but not so much stretch you cannot get tight. We’ll see how it holds up in the weather and sunlight. But so far no complaints. Good price per square footage to compare to other listings I’ve seen.

I purchased this to backstop the fence in my yard so my son's baseballs don't wind up in the road, and it worked perfectly, until the wind took it town (no fault of the product, my rigging sucked..) The material is thick and durable, basically what you'd find at any baseball park, and the holes are small enough that nothing baseball sized or larger will get through. I didn't use the included kit to put this up, since I needed it anchored off the ground, not to it. I'll be donating it to the baseball club at the end of the year (I really don't want to put it back up, it was NOT easy), and I hope they get years of use out of it, it's certainly durable enough for that.
