I've been using these for a few months now and so far all 20 have been reliable. I have not been putting tons of files on and off them but they hold plenty for transferring things back and forth and have been really useful for moving audiobooks to and from the tablet of an elderly parent who has trouble navigating the screen. Also have been able to use these to supply a BARD library reader with audiobooks. Since those readers don't have easy chapter selection, it's best to put one book on each so a lot of different thumb drives were required. They're working great.

The colors are great to ensure students have some degree of accountability as well (I deal with post-secondary and they also need reminders). 8GB stores a whole lot of photos or music tracks. Put a whole folder on one of these color coded drives and carry it from place to place. A fractional point off for not having a great way to write description of contents on the drive, but it does have a keychain loop to which a key tag could be attached. Red LED shows activity. Comes pre-formatted. Can't go too wrong for the price!

These USB sticks have terrible transfer speed. It took 30 minutes minimum to transfer less than 7GB of data to them. Several of them took over an hour. 3 of them outright failed on me. I would not recommend purchasing these.
