I was really hesitant to order a cheap knock off. THESE are not CHEAP, but they are inexpensive compared to the OEM. Comparing them side by side I see no obvious differences except that this one comes with a tightly woven felt pre-filter. I have two winix filters that ALWAYS come with a foam pre-filter. I was flabbergasted that the oem one for this machine did not. Without that prefilter, the expensive HEPA filter takes the brunt of the larger particles that could have been collected on the pre-filter. I will only order these from now on. ... show more
