I did not return but used on a screen door. The screen door has deadbolt so the concern that this door knob did not lock was not an issue. if i was using this on a entry door, then i would have returned and most likely not recommend this item.

I needed another door knob that locked and ordered this one. It is nice quality. It installs like any other door knob but this one comes with 3 keys which is nice. It seems to be a very sturdy knob and I like it.

These handles do work, but the craftsmanship is really lacking. My husband said they were much more difficult to install than what you would find at the improvement store but they do work. To use them, they have a sharpness where the ball of the knob ends and the center shaft of the handle meet that makes it very uncomfortable to use. ... show more
