These are on the cheaper end of the holders I've used on my kayak, but they did the job and serve their purpose well. The price makes these good enough to purchase them, and if you end up losing one in the lake, like I recently did, I have no issue buying them again. Placing them on my kayak was easy enough. First time useing these today not even out here an hour went to pole my fish rod out of it the top came off the base and fell in the water and sank sad day

They fit great and work perfectly, the only thing I don't like is that they strip the threads really easily. Considering you can only tighten them by hand it's not very hard to do so.
