I recently purchased this 2-inch duct fan as a replacement for my bathroom's original Broan-NuTone S97012026 Fan, which had failed. After the replacement Broan-NuTone model also ceased working, I decided to give this product a try, connecting it directly to the exhaust pipe of my bathroom vent fan. Two months in, and I'm mostly satisfied. The fan is operational and fits well into the 2-inch exhaust opening, which was a primary concern. However, there are some notable points to consider: - Dust Accumulation: I've noticed a bit of dust buildup in the center around the blades. It's not a major issue but something to be aware of for maintenance. - Ventilation Time: It takes a bit longer than expected to ventilate my small bathroom, roughly between 50 to 100 sqft, usually over 20 minutes. - Power Adapter Issues: My order included two fans, but they arrived with different plug power adapters. One of them, made by Huawei, started to malfunction soon after, failing to turn on or taking a while to activate. I replaced it with an R-Tech 12v Power Adapter (5.5x2.1mm) for an additional $15, and it's been working fine since. - Noise Level: The fan's noise is noticeable but tolerable. It's audible in the bathroom, but once you step away about 6 to 10 feet, it's hardly noticeable. - Limited Market Options: There aren't many products like this on the market, so I appreciate the manufacturer's effort in providing this option. - Seller Caution: For potential buyers, be aware that I purchased these fans from BiiKoon One-stop Market on Amazon, and there was an issue with the power adapter for one of the fans. Overall, I'm giving this product 4 out of 5 stars. It's a functional replacement for my original bathroom fan, but the variance in power adapters and the initial issue with one of them was a bit of a letdown. Had both adapters worked flawlessly, I would have gladly given a full five-star rating. If you're considering this as a replacement fan, manage your expectations accordingly, especially regarding ventilation time and potential power adapter issues.
