Pros: It's 2hp, and its cost is good. Cons: bad instructions, and it runs very hot. My impeller broke on my original motor, so I went in search of a replacement. I found this. The package arrived quickly and in good shape. I moved all my parts to my work area and looked at the directions. Wow, Nothing is worth much in there. A guy on YouTube has a good video for the same model under VIVOHOME 2.0HP. I have installed the motor, and it has run for 4 hours, and it gets hot. Almost very hot. I hope this motor holds out. Will upload pics soon.

I was just a little skeptical when I saw how much less expensive this pool pump was than many others. However....I am always looking for a bargain so I bought this one. I cannot believe how quiet this pump is. I actually have to look at the jets to even tell it's running. It cleans the water like our old, more expensive one never did. It's been installed for a couple of weeks and I'm so impressed. We had to buy a couple of fittings to fit it to our filter but that cost was minimal. We'll see how it goes as time goes by but I'm hopeful that it will continue to work like this. Definitely recommend.

If you buy the shiny metal looking pump you will run into a problem of the possibility of the pump being set to run on 220v instead of 110v, even though that it has a standard 110v cord to plug in. I reached out to explain to the seller that the motor just hums and won't start, after a couple back and forth with the seller I get that the switch is inside the pump which means that I would have to disassemble it to change the Voltage requirement, which also is nuts, I requested a picture and instructions for the procedure, let's see if THAT happens, will update. UP DATE, don't buy a pump that has no means to change the voltage, pump looked good but can't use, sending back, I'm disappointed.
