Features

  • Heavy-duty construction: The bike rack is made of heavy-duty steel and aluminum with e-coating to resist corrosion. This ensures that the rack will last for many years, even with heavy use. Note: Our bike racks weigh 75 pounds.
  • Exclusively designed ramps: The aluminum ramps are designed to make it easy to roll bikes onto the rack. They can be pulled out from trays for easy loading and pushed back when not in use. The trays can be reversed to set up ramps on either the left or right side and are adjustable to eliminate bike-to-bike contact.
  • Accommodates a wide range of bikes: The rack can accommodate tires up to 3.35 inches wide and bike wheelbases up to 53 inches. This makes it suitable for a variety of bikes, including e-bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, women's specific bikes, and kids' bicycles.
  • Secure clamps: The bike rack features heavy-duty steel buckles, robust nylon release tabs and tapes, and adjustable ABS clamps that come with TPR pads. These clamps not only tighten the bikes in place but also protect them from damage.
  • Down-sloping design: The rack features a downward-sloping design to give you access to your trunk's cargo, even with your bike loaded. This is a handy feature that saves time and effort. The 2-inch hitch mounted fat tire bike rack mounts easily to the 2-inch trailer receiver, but 4x4s with rear-mounted spare tires require an extended trailer receiver. (Note: Always make sure your bike rack and bike are secured before traveling)

  • Rack clamp came broken
Received rack with broken clamp and no way to contact the manufacturer. Really sad I have to return the whole rack when all that is needed is a clamp. Manufacturer contacted me and sent new parts. I was able to keep the rack and we are very happy with it. Works great for our two e-bikes. Very sturdy and easy to use. ... show more

  • Ramps are awesome!
Easy assembly. Seems well built. Snugs down tight with the wheel straps. I’m going to double secure them (I don’t quite trust the straps- they seem to be plastic). Our Lectric e-bikes just fit. Hitch tightener definitely recommended. Mine sways quite a bit. Folds up nicely on our Phoenix Cruiser. Will have to put pool noodles on the rack when folded to prevent from rubbing on the ladder or spare tire cover. I’m also going to install some reflectors and led lights on the bike rack—- just for added safety. I would also recommend the bar stabilizer from the handle bars to the seat—- the center brace doesn’t quite secure the bikes. The more secure- the less chance of losing an expensive e-bike. ... show more

  • Sturdy, for the most part
I appreciated the fact that all the parts were there, and that they fit together as specified. Make sure you take it out for a bumpy "test run" before getting on the road. I realized that I didn't have my Lectric e-bike clamped down properly (make sure you don't clamp it against the battery housing...it won't hold), and it came loose. I appreciated the fact that the package included an extra clamp. I have a feeling I'm going to need it. They're made of plastic and seem rather flimsy compared to the rest of the product, which is certainly robust. Keep in mind it does take some effort to get it mounted, since it's a heavy rack. The hitch pin that comes with the product is very sturdy, but it's really made to leave the rack on the vehicle long-term. It's a chore to attach, remove, and reattach. It would be nice if a locking hitch pin was included, though it's easy enough to get one. It would also be nice if a cable lock were included with the product, allowing the user to lock their expensive e-bikes to the hitch. Given this is a "high-end" rack, these additional features would be appreciated. The loading ramps are excellent! ... show more

  • Update: Doesn’t hold the weight that they claim!
Purchased this bike carrier for our e-bikes as they said it would hold the weight. Not true as we almost lost our bikes off the back of our RV as the weld broke. I am very disappointed with this as it costs so much and it is not worth the money as the quality is not there. The manufacturer of this product contacted me and offered a refund for the product. They apologized for my experience. Very nice to see a company stand behind their products! ... show more

  • Perfect for my gargantuan eBike
This is a super sturdy, well built rack. It boasts an 80 pound per bike weight (although the manual says 70 pounds). It is easy to set up, easy to manipulate. Needed a hitch extension for my Rubicon. But it folds out of the way allowing the door to open completely. The ramp is really nice, and can accommodate from either side. Check your bike length (wheel center to wheel center). Mine was right on the edge. This rack looks very similar to the new rack released this month by Yakima, but at nearly 1/2 the price. Get a good hitch lock, cable, and u-bolt. The criminals are on the lookout for unattended eBikes. ... show more

  • Got this one because the ramps can be used on both sides so handlebars aren’t a problem.
Very easy set up. A bit heavy but that’s needed for heavy bikes. Excellent buy

  • Not Made for Lectric or Engwe Bikes - I explained why I kept and what I had to purchase to make work
Out of all the carriers on the market this one was the least expensive that also hass ramps built in, wonderful and yes they work well. The platform is wide enough for an eBike no problem and of course it holds the weight just fine as well. The Engwe bile weighs 90 lbs and the XPeak Lectric weighs 64 lbs. Where it fits into the hitch is supposed to be 2" but it fits loose, so I purchased a Rhino Locking Trailer Hitch for a tighter fit and for security, that helped alot versus the pin. I also purchased a Rhino Hitch Tightener Anti Rattle Clamp, also needed because it is so loose. The wheels lock downs are poorly designed, they should have used the same rubber strap they used on the center pole when it is not in use so I would advise buying some Heavy Duty Velcro Cinch Straps for the wheels (4) and the post (2) because the C clamp only works on smaller frames, it does not work on larger frames that have batteries inside of them; so I don't know why this is claiming to be an eBike carrier. To concluded, it took me weeks to find this and it's too big to return so, in order to make it work properly I had to invest $240 in additional accessories to make is safe and functional. I will add pictures soon. I found this out when I tried to load our bikes this weekend after getting them in new and could not because the rack is unsafe as it comes. ... show more

  • High quality and well made
My first impressions of this bike rack are that it's high quality and well made. I've only had the bike rack a few days and I have used it once. I had the rack unboxed and installed in about 15 minutes because it arrives mostly already assembled. The rack is big and sticks out far behind the vehicle. Unfortunately for my vehicle, when the bike rack is folded up, it completely hides my license plate due to the width and placement of the wheel rails. I'll likely not have the bike rack installed when I'm not carrying bikes. The ramps pull out beautifully. The wheel rails were slightly too small for my fat tires, but the bike secured fine. I added reflective tape for safety and I'd recommend that the manufacture include those. ... show more
