Barry me to put together. It’s true to size but it’s not very stable. And if you screw the screws to tighten that the metal. It does come with a screwdriver, which is a plus.

This arch was super easy to assemble, my mom and I did it in around an hour. Super easy, the process is just redundant. It is wobbly on its own, but it’s so light we were able to tape it down with white duct tape. I bought the flowers on Amazon also, everything on the arch was Amazon. Much better than purchasing or renting an arch, the whole arch and everything on it cost less than $100 dollars! I def recommend DIYing this. :) ... show more

I bought one just like it couple years ago for grape vine and wanted to replace it with a sturdier one. When shopping for sturdy trellises they were hundreds of dollars- so I bought this one again and braced it. We set up the arch up, only to find we were missing pieces, luckily we were able to find a couple of pieces of pipe to connect the arch together. It worked out fine. But just in case always check to see if you have all your pieces, you may not be as lucky as we were.

This arch is super light weight so be careful where you place it. I left off the bottom cross bar/rung on each end so that I could push it 4-5 inches in the ground to keep it sturdy and in place. If you put the bottom rung on you will need something to keep from falling over from wind or someone touching it. Make sure you look at the (picture) directions as you need to keep everything going in the same direction or you will have to undo half like I did. ha! This arch really needs to ship with 4 additional straight side pieces. That way you could push those pieces into the earth and not have to worry about your arch falling over. I did adjust the construction so that I could drive about 10 inches into the earth. Otherwise you would need to get rebar or something that attach it to the arch (not very visually attractive). This arch will not stand on it's own with the slightest of breezes or vibration. I do not feel it would be a good option for hard surfaces unless it is leaning against a wall or you have a weighted base. The arch also will not support much weight (as clearly stated in instructions and listing). I am growing tomatoes and cucumbers on mine, so we will see if it will hold up! Overall, I would not purchase again, but it was a cheap option for me to start my vertical gardening adventure! ... show more

we used this for my son's wedding. It was beautiful. Great to have choice of making it tall or wide. We went with wide and put on top of wood crates to make taller. Very easy assembly.
