Putting this grill together took a litter longer than some have reported. I'm pretty good at assembling projects, but this one took me about 1-1/2 hours by myself. It required a lot of getting up and down to either a chair, stool, or the ground. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The materials are of good or better quality, and I appreciated the brass rivet inserts instead of needing to hold nuts for all the screws. All of the stainless steel used in this grill is magnetic, so it is likely a 430 or 410 steel, which is prone to rusting even though it is technically "stainless". The grilling compartment is fairly small, though large enough for 8-10 chicken wings. This allows the hood thermometer to be nearer the grill surface. A grill surface thermometer reads just about what the hood thermometer reads. There is a grill shelf which is handy for finishing heating of delicate meats like steak and salmon. It is also useful for cooking veggies like asparagus while the main course cooks. All in all, this grill is good value for the money and big enough for a couple. ... show more

What I did was to lay everything out in my Living Room and took sticky notes and numbered. Worked great and then I could see if everything was there! Also GREAT Shipping box as well. Would never get damaged! Although a bit on the cheap side, it works perfectly for me. 64 year old female and I’m just grilling small amounts. Yet would also work great for larger amounts. I did receive a grill with no Griddle in the middle but I actually didn’t want that! Both sides have side tables that don’t fold down, that’s perfect. Fast shipping to Michigan.
