This is the cutest lil modern fish tank or water box for my Betta and 2 dwarf frogs!!! I added some live plants, plant soil and tiny river rock with some larger rocks and a tiny piece of driftwood!! It arrived quickly and was packaged very well, with Styrofoam over tank, inside tank for stability and then boxed and boxed again!! No cracks or scratches!! My pets in the tank seem so happy. I LOVE this lil tank!! The black glass in the back makes the decor stand out! My Betta is really red so he stands out against the black background!! This came with a top, filter and a lil light. It a nice tank that’s aesthetically pleasing. I wish it had a lid because you will be constantly topping off the water and I live in a moderate environment. Otherwise it’s perfect for my betta.

The media could not be loaded. So far so perfect. The only tricky thing I did not understand was the positioning of the filter itself but I apparently have it in the correct position and everything is running smoothly. The sound of the filter system is very very minimal it’s at the very least a very low hum. I love the light, the fact that it’s a glass tank and the filter. The only thing missing from this little kit is a tiny heater (I have added my own). Whoever says this is unfit for a betta is surely mistaken. ... show more

FISH OWNERS BEWARE!! i just got this tank like a week ago if even that and i was missing the instructions on how to set up my filter and as a first time fish owner i couldn’t get it to work or find any video on how to set it up and then last night i finally did i thought and woke up to my fish stuck in the sponge that goes into the tank and has passed away. why would u guys make something exactly the size a fish can swim into and get stuck cuz i did everything based off the pics i could find and the videos of other peoples in the reviews ... show more

This is actually a really nice little glass tank. The build quality of the tank itself is good. The glass feels solid and durable and the seams are clean. It looks sleek and minimal which makes it perfect for a small display setup. That said the size is only one point five gallons. It would be a crime to put a betta in this. Way too small for proper care. I am using mine for a small terrarium and waterfall style display and it is perfect for that kind of project. The included filter and light are okay but feel on the cheaper side. They work but they are not high end components and I ended up not using them for my setup. Noise level on the filter is acceptable for a small space but again this is more of a basic add on than something premium. Durability of the tank itself seems solid and it holds water just fine. If you are looking for a nano glass tank for a display project, shrimp, or something creative this is a great option. Just please do not buy this expecting it to be appropriate for a betta. ... show more
