Do the cameras work 24/7? Yes but not by default. All solar-powered security cameras record on motion detection. You can plug the cameras to power with 5V DC phone chargers, switch to "Continuous Recording Mode" to make them work 24/7. It affects the battery longevity though. Does it require internet connection to function? No. The system works without internet. Internet is for you to remotely check on Can I connect the NVR to my network via WiFi? Yes, you can either hard wire the NVR to your network with included network cable, or connect via 2.4Ghz WiFi. Can this be charged any other way than solar? Yes. I’m extremely impressed with this camera system. I currently have 8 cameras connected, and everything has been working great. The image quality is very clear, the cameras are reliable at detecting events, and the fact that they’re solar powered makes installation incredibly convenient. There’s no need to run power wiring to every camera or constantly take them down to recharge them. The solar panels can also be adjusted separately from the cameras, which makes it easy to point the camera exactly where you want while positioning the panel toward the sun. Setup and pairing were surprisingly easy, including adding additional cameras. The system supports up to 10 cameras, so there’s still room for expansion. I especially like having a real NVR instead of relying completely on cloud storage. Mine came with a 1TB hard drive, providing plenty of local recording storage without requiring a monthly subscription. The hard drive is also very easy to access and replace or upgrade later. Video quality is excellent, with 4MP/2K-class resolution, night vision, and color night vision. The cameras also use PIR/smart human detection, which helps identify actual activity instead of simply reacting to every little movement outside. So far, mine have been very good about capturing the events I actually care about. Another feature I really enjoy is two-way audio. I can hear what is happening around the camera and speak through it remotely, which is extremely useful for visitors, deliveries, or simply checking what’s happening outside. I also love having both local and remote viewing. I can connect the NVR to a TV or monitor and see all 8 cameras together like a traditional surveillance system, while still receiving event notifications and viewing the cameras from my phone when I’m away. The mobile app was very straightforward to set up and is easy to navigate. The cameras are also IP66 weather resistant, which is important for something that will permanently live outdoors. Overall, this system gives me exactly what I wanted: great image quality, solar power, local 1TB storage, smart motion detection, two-way audio, night vision, phone notifications, remote access, TV/monitor viewing, expandable camera support, and no required monthly subscription. For the price and the amount of functionality included, I’m extremely happy with it. Definitely a 5-star system and one I would recommend.

Look, It is cheap but issue is even if you set the NVR to record at all time it wouldn't do, It shows 1gb hardrive but if you don't record continuously the size doesn't matter. They NVR software is buggy, if you set the CAMS in your own network they would connect but they wouldn't talk in the network at all, so you cant use a third party open source like Frigate, apart from that when using its RSTP protocol was so buggy so you cant use it at all. Now Privacy, look i have a private DNS (pihole) and the NVR would communicate to China I blocked the China addresses and it would work just fine, notifications and the like. So if all work why talking to China Addresses? Anyhow , I can't in good conscience recommend this Camaras. Sheers

I ordered these my grandmother. I decided on this setup because it is wireless and has the ability to connect the base to a computer monitor for easy viewing, which is great for my grandmother because she doesn't like smart phones. I've been trying them out myself before installing it for her to make sure it will work for her needs. It was easy to setup and has worked well so far. I also set the app up so I can check in on my grandmother once it is installed. The app works good as well, even without the cloud service. The battery life is good and will work great for all settings except for the uninterrupted continuous viewing. I found that the uninterrupted continuous viewing worked well doing the day while the sun was up but didn't last throughout the night. Despite this, it will still provide security by switching to a battery saving option after it goes below fifty percent to ensure you have continued coverage until the battery can recharge. All in all, I would recommend this product.

These cameras were easy to install. We love the quality of the picture. However, the wireless cameras go into sleep mode. They do not continously record. The cameras do not catch all movement. It doesn't capture movement around the barn doors unless you are almost in front of the camera. It doesn't consistently capture cars driving around the driveway.

I've had these cameras up - outside for a little over 6 months. Two are no longer solar charging so they don't work at all - and two are still working like normal. You may want to consider buying from a company that offers a warranty on their brand.

AS usual Hiseeu security systems and cameras are well above average. I have installed and used several systems and many more cameras. Right out of the box they easily connect to my wifi and ESEE Cloud. The alarm light is very bright and the siren is very loud. I only recommend Hiseeu equipment for quality and support.
