I wasted almost $400 on this. The range is okay, across an open clear field the reliable connection range is about 600 feet. There cannot be walls or trees or dense shrubbery in the path. The cameras get a good clear picture at night or day. The Windows software and the phone apps are next to useless. The system communicates alarms via the connections to a phone or to a PC, the unworkable unreliable connections and poor interface makes the system useless. I foolishly let this go past the 30-day return window, so I have no recourse. It will all go in the trash unless they fix their very poor apps and Windows software. A HDMI monitor connected directly to the base unit along with a mouse work perfectly, although alarm detection is very unreliable. But who is going to sit all day and watch a screen? ... show more

Let me tell you guys that I am very satisfied with my purchase, the 4 cameras /solar panels and the home base while it came with a 64g memory card I went and brought a 124g memory card for more storage, because I live in the United States and I have a home back in my country 🇭🇳 Honduras, and I do agree with that the video quality could be Better, but it does give me a piece of mind that I can watch over my old age aunt, with coming and going to my house. Also the detection levels of birds the chicken and cats thee alarms is good had to lower the detection to human. The night vision is great light detection is good, I can speak to my aunt and she can talk to me and I didn't have to do no subscription they do give you free 30day cloud storage services your choice if u want to keep video in case of any insurance or evidence, I for one didn't do that Because where my aunt lives at, there is nothing but acres of land and the city is far from where she lives at. I'm only just watching her cause. She is an older woman in her 60s. And for installation was very easy. Setting up the account was also easy. This camera system and NVR work great with little to no false alarms. The humanoid detection is very good. The app for Android works great, the PC version of the App not so much. The PC app will not load all of the cameras at one time maybe 6-7 out of the 9 total, supposed to be able to handle up to 64 cameras (yeah right) and now lately, after just a few weeks, will not load but a few then crashes. Plus the PC app has issues scaling to the screen properly on my 1440p monitor, scales OK in 1080 though but still not quite right. The NVR and cameras work great and notifications are pretty dependable though sometimes really late to come through. The solar panels keep the cameras charged very well. Outside of the PC app I really like and would recommend to anyone looking for a wire free installation but XMARTO really needs to update their PC App. ... show more

I live in Florida, which this is solar. Camera is best for sunshine state. Each camera has own solar panel, so don’t need to charge. No wiring. You can use the mobile app remote viewing. Video quality is clear day and night. It’s great camera. I like it and easy to installed.

These are great while you can get discount on thw storage, after about a year almost become useless because the app they use stops recording longer videos without a cloud subscription which is very pricey. Sound is very poor and the video quality is very low
