I was impressed with this fan shutter it is very sturdy, very well made, and I would recommend this to anyone that's considering to install a shutter in their garage wall or attic it's made out of galvanized and not aluminum great product.

I ordered this not knowing that a kind of important part of this was made out of plastic. If I would have known I would have looked for something else. The whole unit is made of steel except for the pins that hold the louvers in place and open/close on. They are made of tiny plastic pieces. When I opened the box I found one of those not in it's hole and the louver flopping around, I found that part out and in the bottom of the bag the vent was packed in. I found three others that were only half in their holes and ready to fall out. I put everything back together and mounted the vent. I don't know how long it will last?
