Assembly was super easy it took about 30 minutes from start to finish, and all the parts and instructions were clear with all the tools included. I was surprised how well engineered this bed frame is as well as how easy it is to assemble. The two long rails are hinged in the middle and all that's needed is to swing them opened and then screw on the rectangular end pieces. Once that's done the supporting slots easily snap into receptacles built into the frame. It would have been easier to do it with two people, one holding the pieces and the other inserting the screws but I usually manage it by myself in about 20, 25 minutes. Box arrived a bit beat up/ torn/ holes. Missing 4 of the caps that go on the ends of the slats. Other than that- no scratches, dings, dents or bends. Looked practically brand new. Easy to assemble by myself in about 15 minutes. Less if I deduct the 5 minutes I went back and forth to porch to get next piece or pieces, too small an area to bring everything in. Assembled well, no fighting to line up holes, everything fit fine. Looks good and is sturdy. I got the 18 inch narrow twin and my 16 inch totes slide under just right. I did get the used/ returned one because $20 less. Well worth it. Aside from 4 caps all parts are there- all bolts plus 2 extra, the Allen wrench tool, all slats.     • Broke at almost exactly 1 month

The center legs on both sides broke almost exactly 1 month after setting it up (assembled 7/16, writing this 8/21). One has bent/bowed and the other actually broke where it meets the frame. I am not a large person (under 5'6", under 190lbs) and I am not rough on my furniture. I got this just so I can sleep and read in the office when my partner needs to sleep in, so it's only been used a few days a week. The height is perfect (I can fit my totes under it and it lines up well with the window), it's a great fit for the room (it's a tiny office), it went together quickly... and it has lasted for maybe 18 nights total. Disappointed and frustrated. For the price and hassle I would have been better off just building one out of 2x4s. No idea if I'll be able to get any kind of refund or replacement on this, and I still need a bed. ... show more
