  • Hatched Me into a Pro
Full disclosure, I am not what you'd call a seasoned poultry expert. Most of the time I'm winging it- pun intended- but this incubator made me feel like I actually knew what I was doing. This is my second unit, and compared to my first experience, it was night and day. The first incubator I bought from a local feed store in the Central Valley cost more and produced exactly zero viable eggs. I'll be honest, when this one arrived, I moved my currently incubating eggs into this one because I really wanted to get it up and running- and well, I've had the other one for a grip of time and I could never turn a chick into an egg. Not one. I know, seems impossible but it is true as I breath- of course I now know why (temperature sensor was highly inaccurate) while the sensor on this one matches my laser thermo (a little device I picked up after researching this incubator) Never really thought my whole problem was the temp but live and learn I guess. On the bright side, or shall I say, on the warm side, I ended up with an all around better, high quality incubator because my last one was so fail. So, good job on failing :) What's really working for me is the simplicity. I don't have to overthink anything. The automatic turning works, the humidity control seems consistent without constant babysitting, and the built-in candling light, an interesting inclusion, is not some throwaway feature. This thing even has adjustable trays which would let you incubate different species of eggs I suppose. I'll admit I make mistakes, but this machine makes it harder to screw things up. That's a great feature in my book. If you’re a beginner or just tired of wasting time with fluttering hatch rates, this one's worth it. I'd buy another tomorrow if I needed to replace it for whatever reason. Pros: high hatch success accurate and stable temperature and humidity control reliable egg turning candling light works well two tray sizes for different egg types high capacity i hatched chickens yo! finally! Cons: maybe due to my limited exposure to incubating, maybe not- but I don't find anything wrong with it! Hot Take: I fumbled through my first incubator like a blindfolded cook in a pressure kitchen- this incubator turned me into a pro bowler of chicken hatching! ... show more

  • Has some good things about it
This incubator is great, especially for those who need to maintain higher humidity levels. The included water bottles do an excellent job of keeping moisture up. I tested this feature during a period of naturally high humidity and found that it quickly and significantly raised the humidity levels. While I didn't have a successful hatch with it, I believe that was due to attempting a late summer hatch rather than a fault of the incubator. One of the standout features is that it includes a goose egg turner, which is a huge plus and will be very helpful for me when my geese start laying again. The incubator is also very easy to use and is priced well for what you get. It's designed to be stored in its original box, which is a nice touch, as the styrofoam provides insulation for hatches during colder weather. I also appreciate the ability to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Overall, it's a great value for the money and can hold a good number of chicken and duck eggs. ... show more

  • All the Necessary Features Included
I ordered this incubator for a classroom hatching project. I am giving it 4 stars for now because it has not been used with fertile eggs. The features, however, look like they will ensure a good hatch. - a small gear must be installed before use following the installed instructions (instructions also on outside flaps of box) - includes instructions for use - auto rotation - water bottles for hydration - temperature control - number of days to hatch timer - clear dome allows users to see when eggs pip and to monitor newly hatched chicks Once we use the incubator in a classroom, I will update the review. ... show more

  • Effortless Setup, Reliable Results, A Must Have for First Time Hatchers
As someone testing an automatic incubator for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how intuitive and user-friendly this unit is. Setup was a breeze—it practically eliminates the guesswork involved in hatching fertilized eggs. From the moment I placed the eggs inside, I felt confident in the process thanks to the clear design and reliable functionality. Cleaning is just as simple, which is a huge plus for anyone planning to use it regularly. The unit offers generous capacity: 18 chicken eggs, 8 duck eggs, and up to 40 smaller eggs like quail or parrot. While I didn’t need all the slots this time, the extra space will be perfect when I expand my flock. The built-in lighting is a thoughtful touch—it illuminates the working area just right without being harsh or distracting. Size-wise, it’s comparable to other models I considered but takes up surprisingly little space, making it ideal for home use. Overall, this incubator has exceeded my expectations. It’s efficient, well-designed, and absolutely worth the investment—especially for beginners looking for a dependable tool to get started. ... show more

  • Great Investment For Incubating Eggs
Whether you are a hobby farmer or a small farmer this incubator is amazing. In the past we owned the Styrofoam one that you had to manually turn the eggs, adjust constantly for the right temperature and humidity. This takes all that work away! The automatic temperature keeps the unit at a constant temperature, just to test it I put in a thermometer to double check and it was accurate. You can adjust the timing of the egg turning. It comes with two different egg holders, one for smaller eggs and one for larger eggs. When it gets closer to the "lockdown" day it will stop turning the eggs. I then take out the egg holder. The bottles make it easy to keep the humidity accurate. It was super easy to setup and if you happen to misplace your directions there are some basic ones on the unit itself. You can fit a good amount of eggs in it too. For all this product offers it is a great deal!. This morning I had a turkey hatch. It is also very easy to clean. ... show more

  • Good incubator!
Seems to be good quality, time will tell on durability. Functions as it should and is easy to use and clean. Had a good hatch rate the first time used, seems to be a great value for the money.
