This beats my cheaper incubator. Main difference is the water dispensers to keep the humidity in check. Of the 10 eggs we incubated 6 hatched. That's a fairly good turn out for us. For the price I think this performed its use well. It The lid fits properly and it maintains temperature well.     • Great incubator for beginners, easy to set up and use
So far the incubator has done awesome. I’ve got about a 50% viable embryo rate on quail eggs at day 10. Which is expected for mailed eggs, not to mention these eggs were sent in 100 degree weather. It turns automatically with a range from every 1 hrs, 2 hrs, or 3 hrs The heat. It fluctuates by a degree or two, I have it set to 99.5, and my thermometer will read anywhere from 97.8-99.8. The humidity has a normal drop rate, I finally figured out that having one bottle in bottle A, is perfect for the 45-55% range and adding both bottles A & B. Puts it in the 70% range, I have to use my phone flashlight to candle the quail eggs as the top of the light is more for chicken eggs it’s so big, but the phone is perfect and easy to use. It’s not an eye sore, it sits lowkey in our living room shelf, my husband says it looks cool. This is a set it and forget it type of incubator and I love that, ... show more
