Must be a defective device, because this item does not heat up the water. I have tried to troubleshoot/re-pair and check my power supply, but the device is faulty. Save your time and do not buy this product!

This steam cleaner works well despite a quirk or two. It puts out a great amount of steam and begins working within about 15-20 seconds of turning it on. The quirk is related to the button on the handle. Because steam is hot, wires running inside the hose, or even inside the coils of the hose won't work, so the button which turns the steamer on and off, and also controls the amount of steam, has to be paired with the base unit, I'm assuming with something like a Bluetooth connection, though the type of connection isn't mentioned. I didn't have any trouble at all with pairing it. In fact, it was so easy that I thought it should be more difficult, so it took me a few minutes to realize it had paired. The other minor quirk is that the one button controls everything, and there's not a lot of explanation on the wand or base about what the button does. The instruction "manual" is really just one small sheet of paper, more like a chit, folded in half, written in what appears to be Chinese and English. It's not very detailed. The steamer comes with several different nozzle attachments, a wand extender, and silicone gloves, which are helpful in keeping your hands from getting burned on the hot steel extender or by the steam itself. It cleans well. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product.

This is a decent steam cleaner where the concept is a little better than the execution. In terms of basic functionality, this is a pretty good product. Good sized water reservoir and steam production is ample to handle a lot of household cleaning needs. Probably isn't going to tackle really caked on messes though. Basically, it's decent but not great, which I mostly expected. It's main benefit is that it's versatile. My main disappointment is that I had hoped it would be better for cleaning upholstery. The pictures in the listing show a flat "brush" that I figured was meant for this purpose, and it turns out that the "brush" is actually a glass cleaner with a rubber strip. Can it be used on upholstery? Yes. But that's clearly not what it was designed for.
