I charged it to 100%. And it worked first time. I did not see a note anywhere indicating what the ON - Off slider button is for but I had this button on when I started the car. Easily to see the green light. For me the green light lit up quickly. My battery was so drained- when I tried to roll up the windows - it stopped midway due to not enough power. It’s compact, powerful, and does the job—I've used it to jump-start my SUV (6.0L engine), and it worked quickly without any issues. The jumper cables are solid, and the USB charging port is a nice bonus for charging phones on the go. It’s got some great safety features too, which gives me peace of mind. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could charge a little faster, but otherwise, it’s a solid device that I now keep in my car for emergencies. I did replace the battery but to have it not only for myself but to possible help someone, or to provide power to my portable tire inflator, instead of the car's cigarette lighter gives me some flexibility. Some of these reviews are brutal. I have borked my battery or alternator on my new car, and I have not had time to get it into the shop. I have used this cool little gadget to jump start my car at least 4 times a day, to go where I'm going. What a pain in the butt to do, but it has saved my bacon! I even jumped some random car at my hotel, after jumping mine! I bought a handful of these for loved ones, you should do the same! I;m glad I needed this Jump pack right after I bought it as it was, is junk... It would NOT start a weak battery in my gas 4 cylinder engine in a Skid steer machine I own. I used a small lawn mower battery with a set of jumper cables in place of this jump pack and the 4 cylinder engine cranked right up and the lawn mower battery is 1 1/2 years old! I ended up buying a GOOLOO 4000 WATT jump pack and I hope it performs as well as claimed by other people who own one! It was also on sale for $99.99 at the time I bought it.. Don't go cheap with a jump pack folks as I once tried as you will hate yourself later on.. WOLFPACK 4000 is also a great Jump Pack if you need a good or better model.. Still a hundred bucks but worth it all day long.. I flipped a coin when I made my choice on buying either one! LOL. ... show more
