Very good instructions on installation. Making the lamp wasn’t very difficult either. We have an older home we just purchased and wanted to replace all the light fixtures. The fan works pretty well even with the walled parts of the fixture. You can change the air flow as well based off the weather. It looks like glass but it isn’t. Great for when you’re not wanting to spend so much on a fan/ light fixture. The different lighting and brightness is easy to adjust. I prefer daytime lighting and man, on high brightness it is BRIGHT. This could also be used with dimmer switches if you have any installed. One thing I have to say is that I dislike the remotes. They can get lost easily and if you are planning on renting, I can guarantee the remote will get lost eventually which while be really annoying to replace. It can still turn on without a remote, but if you wanted to turn on the fan, you’re SOL if you don’t have the remote. I’m sure you could figure out how to configure it that way if you’re handy in electrical or hire someone to do it. Overall it looks wonderful and I say it’s a great value for your money if you’re looking for something pretty and not wanting to spend a few hundred on something at Home Depot or Lowe’s. ... show more

Love how different the style is. It’s on the smaller size but it still looks nice. Easy to install . Blows a nice amount of air considering it’s small. Comes with a remote. Made of good sturdy quality but the blade is plastic.

I love the look of this fan. The overall light itself is a good size and made with quality material. My husband installed it and said it was pretty straightforward. It works very well. Our reading area upstairs doesn't have the best airflow and isn't quite large enough for a traditional ceiling fan due to the attic stairs. So, we were delighted when we stumbled upon this gem. It helps circulate the air and lower the temperature in an area that doesn't normally get good air flow. The remote is handy and functions well, the fixture is pretty and fits our decor.
