I was skeptical at first as to whether this would work. I've got a 12ft diameter round SummerWaves pool, 3ft deep, and it never got naturally warm enough for my liking. The first pump came and threw an error code, but the manufacturer support was actually super helpful and walked me through multiple troubleshooting steps, including sending me a video on exactly how to do it. After we concluded there was an issue with a flow sensor, they sent me a second unit right away and that one started right up with no problems! Very easy to install, just connect the hoses from the existing pump. My pump is 1500gph and I turned it on yesterday with the water at 72 degrees and let it run all day. By 7am this morning it was up to 83 degrees! The unit is very quiet when running and I haven't had any problems with leaks. Honestly, I am really, truly impressed.

So I bought the 16,000 BTU heater that said “up to 6,000 gallons.” My pool is closer to 7,000 gallons but the next size up was twice as expensive so I hoped this would do well enough. It was super easy to install and get up and running. It took 5 days to get from 68 degrees to 85 degrees with the solar bubble cover on it. Our day time air temperatures were in the upper 60’s and low 70’s. Our nighttime air temps dropped into the med 40’s a couple of those nights. It took a little longer than I had hoped for but it got there. We wanted a warmer pool for arthritis work outs. I am very pleased. And it is quieter than the pool pump!!

This pool heater would only heat the pool 6 degrees . Starting temp was 75 degrees, got up to 81 degrees after 2 days and would not get water any higher than 81 degrees after 4 days. Temp would drop to 77 degrees at night and get back to 81 degrees by the end of the day. Could not find any support online

Product says it's easy to install but it's not, we had to buy some parts to put it all together and it needs it's own dedicated GFI circuit breaker, which we don't have a single dedicated one, so it ended up sitting here and not being used.

This unit is a little smaller than what we would need for our pool, but it still does a great job at bringing down or up the temp enough to extend our season. Very easy to add to our existing configuration and we notice the temperature improving very soon after turning it on. A great addition to our back yard to that's gonna allow us to keep using the pool into the cooler months, as well as cool down the pool some when it really gets hot. thanks!
