Alot of people complaining about this coop but I had no problems at all. Setup was super easy and I ended up making a base for it out of 4x4's. It is thin wood but once all together it's pretty sturdy... especially if you modify it and connect it to a base. Overall satisfied.

I think it’s well worth the price. One wire coop from Wilco is over $300 and has no closed off housing so I think this is much better. Instructions aren’t great if you ask me as I did change the way the the side opens so you can get to the door much easier but they aren’t hard to figure out. I also put a clear weather sealer and a rubberized coating on the roof just to be safe. Overall I’m pleased. I’ll have a wire fence around the area just to further protect from predators. I would recommend adding hardware wire to strengthen the coop if you plan on it being your only defense. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely want I wanted. I didn’t put mine end to end but in an L shape. They fit in my 10x20 run perfectly that way I’m able to fit 6 birds in it. Easy to clean Latches on the doors allow for chickens to be locked in or unlocked and open for free range. I put together on my own and no issues. ... show more

So assembly was fairly easy and quick. I would not say it's super sturdy but would last a few years maybe but if you live in an area with lots of predators I would not recommend as a raccoon, fox ect... would probably have no problem tearing into this. They gave us extra screws in longer lengths but not enough of the shorter screws. When I connected the 2 together I used the extra panels with hardware cloth to extend it a little longer and purchased separately some more hardware cloth to cover the middle of the run between the coops shown in pictures. I used a staple gun as chicken wire fence staples would be to thick and split the wood. This will get me by but I think I'll be buying something a little bigger and sturdier. ... show more

This product is not made very well. A predator can get into it very easily. Mine came with broken and missing pieces. The seller did not reply to my contact email when I tried to resolve the issue.
