The title of this product says 100ft of 8/3 inch rope. It's not 8/3 its actually 3/8 inch. That said we found this rope to be well made with the outer covering tightly braided yet comfortable to handle. The ends were well sealed and no fraying was evident when we laid the rope out. We had several trees that over the years had grown over our chicken coops at very sever angles opposite the direction we needed them to fall in. Hubby had some concern that the rope would not be strong enough for securing the trees then pulling against their lean with the tractor. We opted to put chain around the trees a high up as we could reach then secured the rope to the chain then to the tractor. By doing it this way we were able to use the rope without tearing it up on the bark of the trees. Shortly after clearing the trees I needed to load one of my mares into a trailer she was unfamilar with. She weighs around 1200 pounds. I was able to run this rope through a ring in the front of the trailer and out the back. This allowed me to load her myself even though she didn't want to load. While we've used it for multiple applications I've yet to notice any snagging or fraying of the outer braided covering.

This is a really nice durable rope. We got this to replace the rope on our kids tire swing in the back yard. The one we had before lasted for about 7 years and I expect this one should hold up just as well. The length is perfect as it is more than enough to double up the rope for safety and still have length left over length to easily tie some very secure knots. The rope was fairly stiff at first but for this application that shouldn't be an issue. It feels very strong and although this one is a little narrower than the old one it feels a bit tougher... not to mention the old one was wild overkill anyway. Overall this is a great price for a nice strong all purpose rope.

Big 100' length of 3/8" Blue arborist rope. This is strong, easy to handle rope for just about anything on the farm requiring a good lashing down or pulling up. I prefer rope to cable or chain as long as the weight is within the ropes limits...heh heh I've been testing this blue bad boy & keep demanding more from it, loading it up & stressing it out, I have yet to break it working hardwoods like cherry & maple. Yanking, dragging & towing. You got it no problems. So much safer than cable & although it's not as strong it's better, I like returning home uninjured at the end of the day. Shipped on time/no damage/thanks Amazon!

I recently purchased 100ft of 3/8 Inch Climbing Rope/ Heavy Duty Arborist Rope, manufactured by Kynara. I wanted to get some rope that I could use for rigging. This rope was perfect and has a great feel to it. It doesn't tangle or fold up on itself easily. It's more like working with a cable. I have not put it under load yet but when cutting it the threads are very uniform, and I expect it will have excellent tinsel strength. Now I just need to work on learning all of the rigging knots. I rated this rope five stars because it's an excellent choice for those in need of a durable and reliable rope for climbing or heavy-duty tasks. This rope is well-suited for professional arborists as well as outdoor enthusiasts due to its strength, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion. Whether you're using it for tree work, rigging, or other demanding tasks, this rope delivers dependable performance.
