Bought this to replace the starter cord on my Troy-Bilt with B&S motor and have some leftover for other equipment. Installed without a hitch and works fine. Seems like it will last, well made with braided outer wrap.

I used this for a Stihl HS 56C hedge trimmer and the string seems sturdy, worked well and the black/blue chord actually looks pretty cool. But CAUTION: for this trimmer the string was a bit too thick so I had to drill out the plastic hole inside the housing the string passes through to be knotted out. Pay close attention to the thickness as even 1MM made a difference here. The other issue is the 100 ft. of chord, that is essentially 20-30 times more than I need for this fix and am paying for, so not cost effective, but I am well prepared if I need to replace a chord in any of my other small engine tools ... show more

    • Great Pull Rope for Lawn Mowers
This rope is as good as it gets. I work on mowers on the side and use this rope when pull ropes on mowers I repair are worn out or broken. So far so good no complaints from customers and they always compliment that they like the color of it and how strong it feels. We will see with time how many come back to me to be replaced. I will purchase again once I get close to running out. Update: Just purchased my third spool of this fine rope. So far so good with zero issues. Customers are happy so I’m happy. ... show more

    • Product is great, spool is always broken!
The rope is great. unfortunately, both times i have ordered this product the spool is always broken as amazon only puts it in an envelope. 100 feet is going to take a few years to use... would be nice to have a spool to keep the rope on until its used.
