Work very well - but has it's limits! We went to Arizona where it reached 98°, got my popup down to 85. In California when it was 87 it cooled my rig down to 72 in about 45 minutes! I used a power supply from Amazon to power this unit since we had hookup's but eventually it will be hooked up to my solar system. The installation process is fairly clear but in my case I wanted to send my wires back down thru the opening and inside my rig so this meant I needed to take off the cover and re-route the wires as shown in my pictures. What is not mentioned in the instructions is to remove the cover to place the locking nut on the stud of the leveling feet (I did not have the nut on in the picture) minor issue - took me a few minute to figure what were these two nuts for! ... show more

Installed this on transit van. It worked for an hour then the fan completely stopped working. There is no error code showing and there is no troubleshooting guide in the (very limited) documentation. Have reached out to seller and am waiting to hear back. We’ll see, but, for now, one star for a defective product. Will update review when appropriate. Update: Changing to 5 stars after EXTENSIVE back-and-forth to address the problem. Vendor went above and beyond to address the problem, very fast response times, thorough responses. Unit is now working very well. Problem was a circuit board failure. It was quite easy to replace. It took a very long time due to supply-chain matters, customs, etc. to get a replacement from China. Obviously it would be better to have an adequate supply of spare parts domestically, but that doesn't seem to be a priority for many overseas suppliers these days. ... show more

The AC top cover screw holes were all either cracked or busted; it seems the screws were overtightened. Or the material used for its low quality . Now we found out that often we installed the unit. Now I don’t know how cover will stay on that .

so far the unit is working OK, had to make some modifications to the standard 14 x 14 roof penetration. the motor for the oscillating vent fell apart, (could not repair). would be nice if there was a vent extension for a thicker roof. had to modify the hold down bar to allow the inside grill to be installed, to hold the inside grill in place i used a combination of Coupling Nuts. wood screw to Bolt Stud, and a machine screw. over all i am happy with the operation, has a amp draw of 40 on high and 25 on low. I was not happy when the price dropped 170 dollars after my purchase. ... show more

This is a MUST BUY!! I never had such an easier installation! I'm using it for my 32 foot sail boat and I had it cooling in Less than an hour! Cools quickly and it's powerful! I've been using it daily for months with no issues. Worth EVERY PENNY!

Unit works and performs really well and is a great value for the price. Super compact profile on roof and inside! Installation was straightforward although I did have to fabricate a duct extension because my RV roof was thicker than what if could accommodate. Some 1/8" sheet plastic, a heat gun and super glue later and all set. We boondock a bunch so this is great option versus running our Coleman machine units. Customer service from the manufacturer has been outstanding! Will definitely buy another for future projects! ... show more
