Product works great had a few issues in the begining but the seller was more then helpful fixing the issues. Instal was fairly easy, hurt drilling holes in my truck but such is life. Keeps the truck cool and uses about 30 amps or 300-400watss when cooling. it’s only pulls about 4 amps or like 50ish watts when just the fan is on. Would not recommend running of trucks battery’s I put 2 280amp hr lithium battery’s under my bed with a 60amp dc to dc charger and that setup will run it for 20ish hours before need a charge. Only recommendation I would say is to use different bolts when installing all of the bolts that came with it either broke or came loose with the vibrations of the road but easy fix just put some grade 8 bolts with nylon instert nuts.

Really good unit for the money and great customer service. The good: Unit is very efficient. I have a 1000 w of solar on my roof and that was enough to run this baby around the clock. At max power it only pulls around 600w. It winds itself down when it gets close to temp or you can put it on eco mode to run at a lower power. I drove through Wyoming and it was 95 and sunny and I just kept this thing on and it kept my slide in truck camper at 74 degrees while I drove and my batteries were still at 100%. Talk about off grid AC! The bad: Ok if your someone that actually needs directions to put something together, this is not your product; stick to your lattes. It’s really self explanatory if your mechanically inclined. The degrees are also in Celsius so just learn it. It also doesn’t have pressure sensors so YouTube how to properly fill an ac unit and don’t over pressure it. Pro tips: open the unit and hot glue the thermocouple on the located on the cold coils to near the air inlet. The temperature reading won’t be affected by the cold coil and allow you to actually match your setting with the actual air temperature. Also mount your condenser coil in the shade if you can. It will be more efficient. If it has ambient air flow, even better. But too much while driving will cause it to freeze over so don’t mount it on your grill and be blasting that thing all day. Cheers! Customer service 10/10. I had my compressor go bad. Maybe a bad unit or also possibly my own ignorance when I first filled it. They sent me a whole new unit at no cost. This alone is why you should buy this one.

After getting this AC installed I am very happy with the result. 10,000 btu works great in Texas heat, Love the remote. Has eco and turbo for quick cool down.

The instructions are not helpful. one thing I've found is the unit cycles way too frequently. It's rarely steady. The compressor kicks on every 20 seconds, and it's distracting. I wish there was a long cycle mode that would keep the unit operating more consistently and quietly. I don't need the temperature constantly maintaining a tenth of a degree accuracy. Also, what kind of fuse is in the in-line fuse holder? I would like to purchase some spare fuses. I also have a 40A fuse in my control center, and it occasionally blows. A 60A fuse would be good, but they don't make them bigger than 40. I would consider bridging the fuse slot in the control center if I had some spares, which I believe are 80A fuses that come with the unit. Other than that, it does work and cools down the van to 60 degrees or less. I don't need to run it on it's lowest temp because 60 is plenty cool when I'm trying to sleep.
