I really like the color and texture of the cover, as well as its layout and the elastic band for holding it closed. The shipping is a different story. They twice shipped it by just putting the shipping label on the shrink wrap covering the planner. No padded envelope, no box, not even the thin envelope in which many items are shipped. Nope. Just slapped a shipping label and entrusted it to the USPS, as if the USPS is known for its gentle handling of items! Needless to say, it sustained damage in shipping, including to the cover (particularly the corners) and the metal holding it together. The 1st time this happened, I complained and explained that it was damaged due to the way it was shipped (which I explained in detail). Amazon offered to replace it, which I accepted. BUT, despite the damage incurred the 1st time due to the failure to ship it in a manner which provided any protection, Amazon shipped the replacement by again just slapping a shipping label to the shrink wrap, resulting in the replacement also being damaged. The lesson I learned is to ALWAYS indicate (when placing your order) that you want your purchase shipped in Amazon package rather than the default, which is something to the effect that it will be sent in its original package.
