Bought to replace the lead acid battery in my Chamberlain garage door open that failed after 3 years. This battery is lightweight and works as expected after a couple months. Only time tell if it lasts longer than the original.

These actually fit perfect and are the exact dimensions as advertised! I've been searching for a LiFePO4 Battery for my Hoyer lift For quite a while now. I've ordered a few others from Amazon that claimed they were the same dimensions but they would never fit so I ended up having to buy the old fashioned sealed lead acid batteries that would only last about two years. I ended up ordering these on a whim to give it another try and sure enough they fit perfectly. The other great thing about this battery is that it comes with the F1 terminals that my Hoyer lift requires. All the other batteries that I had to send back have F2 terminals that I had to buy adapters for. Everything about these batteries were perfect so far.. Now we'll just see how long they last.

I had a pile portable PA speaker that would not charge. I cracked it open and found a sealed lead battery. Wanting something more efficient I bought this battery and was able to swap it out (with a little muscle and solder). Works perfectly fine.

Dec 1, 2023: Purchased to replace a DJW12-5.0 lead-acid battery in my portable speaker and was pleasantly surprised to find the included pamphlet, which relays: "Can be charged using most standard lead-acid charges (set)". Lithium batteries float charge at higher voltages and can theoretically be damaged by never reaching float-charge voltage. So it's nice to see NERMAK has anticipated that these will most likely be replacing older batteries with older chargers. Battery fit perfectly and is the same size as my old one so it slid right in. Thus, it is a mani/pedi safe and explicative-free installation item. :-) Two bonuses: 1) LifePO4 batteries are about 55% of the weight. Much easier to lug around! 2) A 12 volt, 5 amp/hour lead-acid battery is really only effective to about 50% whereas LifePO4s maintain voltage down to near zero -- effectively they're twice the amp/hours for about half the weight. So far, five stars and an awesome buy. I'll check back in this summer for a longevity update... Ta ta for now and have a great day! :-)

- NOT A DIRECT DROP IN REPLACEMENT – MUST USE CORRECT CHARGER - I gave this otherwise 5 star high quality LiFePO4 battery one star rating less for the website description not being adamant about using the mandatory LiFePO4 specific charger. You must only use a specified LiFePO4 charger. The website description dangerously suggests that you can arbitrarily charge this battery with a lead chemistry SLA type charger. Quoting verbatim from the website, “(please use LiFePo4 special charger, with fully automatic SLA charger may not be fully charged)” The website description should have explained that you MUST match the battery charging system to the very specific needs of a LiFePO4 chemistry battery. Judging from the reviews, the public is woefully uneducated about the applications for a LiFePO4 battery. - This is a superior chemistry LiFePO4 Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. It is very different than the most common Lithium Ion, Lead Acid chemistry batteries: SLA, AGM, Motorcycle, etc.. If your product has an integrated Lead Acid battery charger, or even a Lithium-Ion charger, you MUST NOT just substitute, swap in, or drop in a LiFePO4 battery in place of a SLA Sealed Lead Acid battery; or AGM type lead acid battery, or Lithium-Ion battery. - Those charging systems ARE NOT compatible with the LiFePO4 battery’s absolutely strict charging parameters. Poor case scenario is diminished life and output of the LiFePO4 battery. WORST CASE SCENARIO IS YOU BURN DOWN YOUR HOUSE. Think about all the house fires you hear about that are caused by Lithium batteries. Probably those house fires are not always caused by a battery failure per se itself, but are caused by the improper charging of the battery. - I have several LiFePO4 batteries being used in various applications. For those particular applications, these LiFePO4 batteries have superior characteristics compared to the old ordinary Lead Acid batteries or even the newer Lithium Ion batteries. - For charging this LiFePO4 battery I will be using a strictly designated specifically designed LiFePO4 Battery Charger. A Lead Acid battery charger can be a very simple design and will cause no harm to a Lead Acid battery. However, LiFePO4 battery chargers must have a semiconductor “brain” Integrated Circuit chip set that constantly measures the battery temperature, battery voltage, and supplies very complicated CC constant current and CV constant voltage to the battery to charge it but not destroy it or cause it to catch on fire. - Additionally to the monitored temperature, CC and CV output, when the LiFePO4 battery is fully charged, the battery charger MUST shut off charging power. Lead Acid battery chargers MUST NOT be used on LiFePO4 batteries because they cannot monitor and output the correct CC and CV as needed and they always default to a trickle FLOAT charge. The continuous trickle FLOAT charge is wrong and dangerous for a LiFePO4 battery. I have attached a photograph of a graph of the LiFePO4 complicated voltage and current requirements that can only be provided by a designated LiFePO4 batter charger. I have attached a photograph of the mandatory charging characteristics of a LiFePO4 battery charger.

Replaced dead acid battery with this Li battery. It's definitely lighter, which is plus for portable speaker. Same specs and fits well. In regards to performance, time will tell. It charges, % shown, it works.
