People say this has a...soapy scent. It does I guess... Guys aren't very articulated with scents. It's reminiscent of a Sandalwood, but also like it claims a Bamboo-ish scent as well. The size of the bottle is good. The scent is just like it was over a decade ago. It's a scent everybody compliments, it's not abrasive and is a scent people want to smell a second time over wondering what it is or why it smells so attractive to them. One thing to note However is the strength and longetivity of the scent. Years ago when it first came out this stuff was STRONG and LASTED. I've noticed over time maybe the scent has declined in a way that has impacted the longetivity of the scent. I mean it lasts for a few hours if I spray heavy but I don't think I should have to bathe myself to make a scent last. It was still a good buy overall though. A full 8 hours at work.....not exactly fit for a full 8. The first 2 or 3 of it maintains it's scent. For an event like a date? Absolutely a go to. Women love this scent, like.....I haven't come across one woman who has told me this stuff stinks or isn't appealing or attractive. If anything I've had women ask me to wear it again around them. Asking me for my clothes to keep and wear kind of thing. If you spray it on something, I will say the scent can last for days directly on whatever you spray like if you held your nose to it. It's just the scent releasing itself in a wide area only last for a couple hours tops. Overall it's a good buy, if you're looking for something new and fresh and that has an amazing scent that people are attracted to mostly then this is the one. It’s gone in an hour or two (as far as silage and projection) but… Okay this is a freshie, with a slight twist. It’s an out of the shower fragrance - a bit soapy (which is exactly what I wanted) - with a minimalistic approach to some slight fruit undertone. It’s not obvious. It’s not sweet - I can’t really describe it. It’ll be great right out of the shower and keeping you feeling and smelling fresh and clean - and interesting. It’s not musky. It’s not very spicy (not in the pronounced way that is typical of men’s cologne). Its not heavy. It’s very subtle and understated. You can amplify its effect with more sprays but it will never go beastmode - I like that it’s safe from being screechy, cloying, obnoxious. End result will be you’ll smell clean for maybe an hour or 2 - it’s a slight skin scent after that - undetectable unless your nose is against your skin. I, without a doubt say this easily passes as UNISEX so ladies - go for it, too! The scent is so non-gendered - it will just mingle with the Skin of whomever is wearing it. I recommend - just keep it (or a travel atomizer) on you to refresh every hour or so. LADIES! PRO TIP! Layer this over philosophy Pure grace lotion, body spritz or perfume - and you have a soapy, fresh, clean, but warm beautiful scent (not the squeaky clean sterile scent of pure grace alone). UPDATE: I just ordered another bottle because I’m obsessed with this scent, now. Don’t get me wrong - I liked it when I first smelled it but it quickly moved to the bottom of my fragrance display - I was almost indifferent to it but I didn’t dislike it. Anyways - a few weeks after purchasing - I had a little anxiety and was thinking this would be a good scent to wear - it’s super subtle and smooth and not loud (like my thoughts at the time). So I got out of the shower and gave a few sprays, over pure grace lotion. Let them dry then sprayed all over again. That’s a big benefit to this frag- it’s impervious to overspraying - you literally can’t overdo it. I’m all about one spray to the neck and maybe one to the wrists depending on fragrance strength. Not with this. I go to town with this! Because after 40 seconds - it’s just freaking delightful and still understated. Anyways! I used it that day and it was growing on me so I used it the next day. And the next day. Now I literally look forward to getting out of the shower just so I can wear this. There was some sort of note I couldn’t pinpoint - I didn’t hate it - but I wasn’t familiar with it - it made me feel like it kept this from being strictly soapy. I’m glad it’s there! I already have strictly soapy frags (Pure grace, for example). This one is soapy plus something else and I can’t get enough of it. Also! You can spray away and then put on a different fragrance a few hours later and it won’t clash because this is already a skin scent. I will always have a backup of this. It’s easily my favorite dumb reach combo and I have dozens of choices when it comes to scents. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more
