Quality is great. Size is a little bigger than it looked in the picture, but ok, nonetheless. Readability is fantastic...the numbers can be seen clearly across the room. The color option for the numbers and nightlight option are very bright but they can be dimmed to one's preference. There are 15 alarm sounds to choose from and the sound level can be adjusted, again for one's preference. However, on its loudest setting, it can and will wake up a deep sleeper. The first day my granddaughter (who I bought it for) heard her alarm go off...she said it almost gave her a "heart attack"! LOL! There are batteries but they do not power the clock, but will preserve memory, if you lose power only. There is a USB cord that plugs into the wall outlet to power it. If you are tech savvy, you probably will not have any problems setting it up. It kind of confused me, though! You do have to plug the USB cord in order to set all the functions. It is a sleek, shiny black, digital readout, fun clock. I definitely think it's worth what I spent on it!

This alarm clock is LOUD and I mean that in a good way. If you have someone in your home that might oversleep then this is the alarm clock for you. It is easy to use and set up. The reason I gave it a 4 is because the included USB-A to USB-C cable was defective and if you lifted it up the cable would disconnect power so I used one of my own cables and it works great. Alarm volume: 120DB....more like 1200DB. No issues waking up with this alarm.

This is a very loud alarm clock. However, the alarm only sounds for a total of 10 minutes regardless of what you do. Especially being marketed as an alarm clock for heavy sleepers, it's an absolute tragedy that this is the case. If you sleep through 5 minutes of the alarm and snooze once, the next alarm will last 5 minutes, if you sleep through 8 minutes of the alarm and snooze once, the next alarm sounds for 2 minutes. if you sleep through 10 minutes of the alarm, it stops by itself, you miss work or your important event, and it doesn't go off again until the next day. This is the number 1 reason I return alarm clocks. As far as I'm concerned, an alarm clock is worthless no matter how loud it is if it doesn't sound off continuously until I physically shut it off.

It's loud but it is not what they make it out to be. 120db I thought would be crazy loud and scare me awake. Alarm turns off on own you have to reset Alarm daily. Update not sure if Im pressing the wrong thing when I turn it off in the morning anything is possible.
