    • Took Some Time to Build, But Worth It
This pergola is well-built and looks good. The structure is pretty heavy, so you definitely want a couple of people to help with assembly. The tricky part was setting up the louvers because there are quite a few and they have to be installed carefully. Once finished, it gives my backyard a nice touch, and the adjustable roof is great for both sunny and windy days. Overall, I’m glad we went with this model. ... show more

The product was of a very good quality. Errors on the assembly manual page 18 and 19 regarding two pieces labeled X of which there are 2 and the small end screws is mislabeled EE is actually HH. X is stationary and supports the fixed louver. See photo.

After doing a ton of research, I finally pulled the trigger on this pergola, and I’m so glad I did. I was initially hesitant about getting the 12x20 size, but catching it on a 4th of July sale for $1,619 made it an absolute no-brainer—especially considering it's fully heavy-duty aluminum. I compared it side-by-side with a similar model at Home Depot featuring the same dimensions and weight, and the quality holds up completely. My only minor critique is the height; I wish it stood at least 9 feet tall, though to be fair, that seems to be a universal limitation for most consumer pergolas in this price range, which max out at 8 feet. I did a lot of research before buying this pergola because it’s such a large purchase. I was honestly hesitant to order something this big online since I was worried that if anything went wrong, returns or customer service might be difficult. In the end, I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did, Arrived on time, We hired a handyman to assemble it, and this is the finished result. So far, everything has been great. It arrived in 8 boxes, all of the parts were included, and a team of four people finished the installation in about 3 hours. I live in California, so we don’t get a lot of rain. Right now, I’m very happy with the purchase. I’ll update my review after we’ve had some rainy weather to let everyone know how well it holds up over time. ... show more
