Bought these to mark out straight lines and corners with string for a gravel stand-off I'm creating around my house and retaining walls. They are pointy enough to mostly be pressed into the ground enough by hand, but sturdy enough and have a big head on them to pound on with a mallet/sledge if needed. Could have a lot of uses, and it seems like they'll last awhile if stored properly.
