Excellent cooktop. Beautiful glass top, which is super easy to clean. I love the touch controls and timer. We put this in our under cover outdoor kitchen and I can't tell you how wonderful that has been. It gets dirty and cleans like a charm and so far no scratches. I've been working in a warehouse for a few months and got tired of buying breakfast and lunch. I thought I'd get a cooktop burner and make light meals on the cheap. This burner has worked well so far. It heats up fast, with the touch of just one button. I've made grilled cheese, omelets, scrambled eggs and hamburger and it cooks the food evenly. The smooth flat surface looks good, very modern and sleek. And it is terribly easy to clean. I don't have to worry about grease or food falling into an inaccessible crevice, like I do on my home stove burners. The heat has been easy to adjust and the controls are accurate, so I'm not overshooting the temperature I want. I've been using this while in a temporary workplace, but I can also see taking it home. During the holidays we could have used an extra burner, we were cooking so many different foods and this cooktop allows for versatile cooking, so I can fry or boil pasta, whatever is needed to handle the overload from my home stove. The burners work independently of each other to accommodate different uses. The burners are also far enough apart that they aren't getting in the way of each other when you are working around the pots or pans and their handles. I've also found it easy to use all kinds of cookware with it. I have some stainless steel, some tri-ply and some non-stick pots and pans and the cook top worked normally with all of them. I didn't feel a difference in heat distribution or any damage to the cookware. They handled much the same as they do on my home stove. This portable cooktop is lightweight, easy to position where you need it, cooks well and is such an improvement over the hot plate I had in college that burned everything.

Nice for an outdoor kitchen, tiny home, or an RV refit. May take a little time to heat up, but once ti does it's good. This is an easy drop in install, the plugin design make the electric part easy. Not a bad option if you're looking to go electric.
