Quite impressive for the cutting ability of a battery powered chainsaw - easy to assemble n use....as long as you make straight cuts that are braced well. Only snag is chain easily pops off the bar - after every cut, inspect for loosening chain , then continue w/ cutting firewood. Overall it's OK but requires constant inspection of the chain. Happy w/ the performance and happy to have made the purchase...

This works good but the chain seems to come loose as I use it, not sure if it is a breaking in period? It is easy to tighten back up. I have cut everything from about 1 inch diameter to 3 inches and it worked fine. I have made a couple 5-6 inch cuts and it seems to bog down on the thicker pieces. Its better than the little hand held 6 inch chain saw but costs about double that one that I previously bought. I thought for $120 it was a great price and then realized when I received it I had to spend another $60 for 2 batteries and a charger... make sure you order the batteries and charger if you dont have some that are compatible!

Got this in a pinch to help clear trails when my order for a dewalt one was delayed. Worked really well. Significantly longer then the dewalt but kept up with a buddies Milwaukee no problem. The only issue I had is when cutting very small branches the saw would jump around a lot and it caused the chain to jump off the bar. This could be prevented by making sure everything you cut is tight against the dogs before starting. Over all solid saw if space is t an issue
