I purchased this battery based on reviews, to power my ham radio in the field. Unfortunately, I didn't read the specs closely enough. The stated output is 12.8 volts. This is fine for many applications. But most Ham radios require 13.8 volts, so this can't power a radio, even if you can start a car with it. If you want a battery that can power items that are more forgiving of the voltage they receive, this should work for you. If you want it for ham radio, I suggest you steer clear of it. Buy a Bioenno battery and maybe a backup 100w foldable solar panel and power converter for extended life in the field from the same company to use along with the battery. I've found that is a reliable (and lighter) option. Just buy the appropriate battery for your needs. 73
