When reviewing video it shows one of every few frames or something because I almost got T boned at a green light for me and tried to find the exact frame he almost hit me and the video was fine. But the exact frame didn't catch the moment I was looking for. The rear facing camera isn't wide enough to capture the passengers in the outside seats or driver's seat and passenger. It covers the middle of the back seats. And I drive a minivan. But it can be helpful in recording a rear end collision. The battery has zero battery life. great price and works very well. Some folks have had the camera mount break, I was in aerospace and spotted the weakness-if you push the mount in by its base-the part that goes in. I used two thumbs to press it in with a solid fit. If you push above the weak point it will snap. If you broke one, mix some baking soda with super glue, in the garage...you5 have just made a blob of perma-bond and as the name implies to its effect. when it hardens it welds itself chemically to clean plastic. It is like a thermal bond you must control and appy. wear gloves and eye protect. ... show more

For the most part, I am happy with this purchase. The only issue I had was the little piece I was supposed to slide into the windshield attachment part broke off because of how difficult it was to slide the little piece in. But after some gluing, it is working perfect. I'm happy that I bought the one with the memory card because it was less for me to deal with purchasing it on my own somewhere else.
