This handy 5' hose from Sowgreen is a nifty problem solver. Of course I can cut up a regular hose (and I sometimes do) and put my own ends on it to make custom short sections. But this 5' unit is a pre-built and convenient solution when one just needs a 5' piece of hose with no drama and no extra work. The hose is made from a synthetic rubberized material and features crimped brass ends with strain reliefs built in. The fittings are standard 3/4" FGH and MGH threads, just as you would expect. The hose is not terribly prone to kinking, though like any hose it can be made to do so if enough force is applied. I don't see that happening for a hose this short. Many uses - irrigation joiners and splitters, hose-reel supplies, hand washing take-offs at your hose bib, the uses are endless. It is BLUE - and did I mention that it is BLUE? Yep...but that can be made to work to your advantage. Select different colored hoses to indicate different circuits. (i.e. all blue ones are timer valve 1, all green ones are timer valve 2, etc.) Five stars - no complaints. Solved my need with no drama. Recommended.

This 5 Ft x 5/8" Hybrid water hose from Sowgreen looks like it will nicely fill a need for us this coming summer. I plan to use as a lead hose between the house water valve and a multiport splitter. That setup saves a lot of hose connects and disconnects during the course of the summer and the associated wear and rear on the faucet, etc. The 5 Ft length gives me some separation between the house outdoor faucet ( which ends up being in the middle of a house end flower bed) and where I can locate my splitter without trampling those flowers all of the time. Essential planning if you have as many things growing as my wife does.🤓 Glad that this is an actual 5/8" hose as I have enough water pressure losses in the full system that at this point I do not need to add more flow resistance by having the size compromised. We will get this out and set up soon. Right now, middle of April it is still raining 3 or 4 days a week. The price we pay for living in the green NorthWet

I got a humidifier for my basement that is rated for 1500 sq feet and is pretty big. I have it placed next to a floor drain, but I didn't have a hose for it. I bought this hose to connect to the back of the humidifier and then the hose runs to the drain. This size works perfectly for what I needed. This is my 3rd Sowgreen hose and I'm just as happy with this one as the others I've bought. The hose is solidly built from good materials, arrived with no leaks and the connections worked the first time. Another winner.

My favorite features of the Sowgreen Hybrid Garden Hose is that it is lightweight and soft. I ordered it as a leader hose to give my 50' hose another few feet for when I spray weed killer on my lawn. Every hose can use another few feet. This 62" hose is soft yet strong. It is lighter than the stiff shorter hose that it replaced. The rubber protected metal part screws easily onto the faucet and the garden hose with no leaks. It came with 3 extra gaskets. I keep it in my garage to extend its life and avoid deterioration caused by the elements. I can bring it outside with my very light hoses any time. New hose technology, making them lighter and more flexible, has made it no longer necessary to keep wheeled hose carriers or mounted holders around the house. My new lighter hoses remain protected in my garage and I can just throw them over my shoulder to bring out to connect to the faucets around my house, when needed.

This review is for a five foot hose, really best used as a connector to a hose reel or something similar. It is not really long enough to be used practically for anything else but it's great for what it is. It's so lightweight I was concerned it would leak but it's been holding up fine under pressure, connectors are brass and it comes with extra washers, a nice touch. This is short enough I wouldn't worry about kinking but I do not believe it has an inside liner as it folds almost flat. Works great so far.

I got this to hook up to a submersible swimming pool drain pump. Most hoses like this are somewhat stiff which I dislike when working around and in the pool. This one is perfect. It has enough flexibility that it doesn't resist moving it around without getting kinks in it.

We live in the hot desert of Arizona (think surface of the sun). In the summertime it is not uncommon for us to reach 110-115 degrees, so we need a hose that is going to stand up to some sun. When this arrived, I could feel the quality. It is durable. It doesn't leak when I attached it (another one of my requirements, because I use these for my drip system - we don't waste water here). I will update my review if it goes bad this summer, but I feel like this one is going to be a keeper!!
