1. Keep the pump upright for more than 24 hours before using it to wait for the contents to settle, because it is maybe upside down or on the side during shipping. 2. Each pump is tested with water and electricity at manufacturing before the sale, so there will be little water, which doesn't represent it is used. 3. If you want your pool's temperature to rise quickly, having a solar cover covering the pool at night is helpful. 4.The heat pump is for outdoor use, IPX4 waterproof. But water ingress into the control panel may cause malfunction. We recommend implementing waterproofing measures for this component during use. Should the control panel malfunction, please find us. 5.When the machine is not in use, it is recommended to cover the machine to prevent bugs from crawling into the machine and damaging the electronic components. The WOPOLTOP 100,000 BTU Full DC Inverter heat pump was one of the easiest installs I’ve done on a pool heater this size. The unit is lighter than most comparable 100k BTU models, the unions line up cleanly, and the electrical access panel is laid out in a way that doesn’t make you fight with it. Plumbing took maybe 20–30 minutes, and wiring was straightforward once the disconnect was in place.Startup was smooth — it primed immediately, recognized flow, and the inverter ramped up quietly instead of blasting on full power. The WiFi setup took about two minutes, and the app actually works. I can check water temp, switch modes, or bump the set point from my phone.Performance‑wise, it heats fast for a 100k BTU unit. The inverter tech makes a noticeable difference: it holds temperature without constantly cycling, and it runs much quieter than traditional on/off heat pumps. Even standing a few feet away, it’s more of a low hum than anything.I’m in Florida, and it has no problem keeping the pool warm in the mornings or cooling it down on hot days. Energy use has been better than expected — the inverter doesn’t pull full power unless it needs to.Overall, the combination of easy installation, quiet operation, and strong heating performance makes this a solid choice if you want a modern, efficient heat pump without overpaying for a big brand name. ... show more

This product is pretty awesome. It’s way quieter than my old unit. Like whisper quiet. It seems to heat well I have a 15,000 gallon pool and within a couple days it brought it from 65° to 90. You probably still need a solar cover. It seems to be well-made. My initialconcern was the support. I emailed them because there was some minor damage to a plastic piece and they’re supposed to be sending it to me. So so far so good. Here’s one important note. The PVC fittings that they provide our metric. They look like inch and a half PVC but they’re not. They’re slightly too big. It’s really hard to find any kind of adapter. I emailed the company and they’re supposed to be sending me something. You’ll see in the photos. I used 2 inch by inch and a half Rubber couplers available at any hardware store to connect. They work, but I think you’re running the risk of it leaking if you leave them on their long-term. The Wi-Fi connectivity works great. I’ve only had a drop off one time and I reset it. Operation panel occasionally does not respond to touch and has to be unplugged and plugged back in. Instructions were poor. WiFi connectivity is a pain to set up. Other than those issues it works well both heating and cooling in Texas weather.

I purchased this unit as an upgrade from a passive solar heater. Installation was straight forward. It appears to be well designed and well built. Since the pump circuit was not rated to supply sufficient power for the pump, I purchased a relay. My only complaint is with the operating instructions. They are woefully inadequate and confusing....as they seem to be a poor translation of the original Chinese docs. I contacted the manufacturer by email, requesting better documentation. They answered promptly, but their answer caused me to believe that the person who responded did not understand English very well, as the responses were inappropriate for the questions. However, after some trial and error, I was able to program the controller. It seems to perform exactly as advertised, is quiet, with little vibration and does what it is supposed to do.. heat the pool water. I would recommend it highly. Five Stars ... show more

Purchased this item in July of 2025. Unit ran from July until September. Winterized with pool. Went to start unit this Spring and unit is completely dead (no display at all). Tried to get support but couldn't find any. DO NOT waste your money!

I purchased this heater in May I contacted the Manufacturer, I thought it should heat up quicker, They responded immedeitly they asked for my pool specs including GPH of the pump. I knew my my GPH was too high 6950 for a 10k gallon pool was way too high. I had planned on a two speed pump anyway. I changed the pump 4800 on high and 2500 on low. I heated the pool from 74 F to 87 F overnight problem solved. Then a week later the wifi disconnected and would not reconnect. Again Tech support was very helpful, we tried a few ideas to no avail, 4 days later I had a new control module. I installed in 2 minutes and I'm back online and working.. Also the temp got to 101 f last week and I tried out the chiller function, in two hours it dropped to pool temp by 5 degrees.. I highly recommend this unit it's quiet and I have barely noticed any add to the power bill. Also the day of purchase the manufacturer sent me a email stating they were sending correct PVC fitting fro the USA 1.5 inch not 50mm they arrived in 2 days.. I very impressed with this unit and especially their Tech Support, being in the tech support business it means everything. Thanks Again Phil Martin ... show more

I've been using it for 3 weeks and it works great so far (March in mid Florida). It does not make much noise. I have it set on 86 degrees and it maintains that temperature running a three of hours each day. I had a little trouble setting up the web connection, but after it is connected, the phone sets the schedule and temperature. The directions are difficult to understand as the print is small. I wish they would have used full size paper or provided on line directions. My unit was damaged in shipping, but I installed it anyway as the damage is cosmetic and I'll fix it someday.     • Works great but preparing with adapters helps
Got the 58000 unit. Instructions are lacking, but I had our AC guy do the installation. You will need to get metric to US adapters for the water connections that he got from Lowes. We also got a cement pad to put it on since there was no room on the pad for other equipment. Heats our smaller 3300 gallon pool quickly. WiFi connection didn't work until I killed the circuit breaker for the unit and powered it on again. This replaced our all electric pool heater. Very quiet, our pool pump is louder than this unit. Edit: wifi connection issues again. Found if I remove power from unit for 5 minutes and power back on then the connection is stable again. We had some power outages that were a few seconds to a minute and I think that caused my connection issues. Update 2: I sent a message to the seller and they sent me a replacement part to correct the issue. Great customer service that I was pleasantly surprised by. ... show more
