I've been using it for 3 weeks and it works great so far (March in mid Florida). It does not make much noise. I have it set on 86 degrees and it maintains that temperature running a three of hours each day. I had a little trouble setting up the web connection, but after it is connected, the phone sets the schedule and temperature. The directions are difficult to understand as the print is small. I wish they would have used full size paper or provided on line directions. My unit was damaged in shipping, but I installed it anyway as the damage is cosmetic and I'll fix it someday. I purchased this unit as an upgrade from a passive solar heater. Installation was straight forward. It appears to be well designed and well built. Since the pump circuit was not rated to supply sufficient power for the pump, I purchased a relay. My only complaint is with the operating instructions. They are woefully inadequate and confusing....as they seem to be a poor translation of the original Chinese docs. I contacted the manufacturer by email, requesting better documentation. They answered promptly, but their answer caused me to believe that the person who responded did not understand English very well, as the responses were inappropriate for the questions. However, after some trial and error, I was able to program the controller. It seems to perform exactly as advertised, is quiet, with little vibration and does what it is supposed to do.. heat the pool water. I would recommend it highly. Five Stars ... show more

We have a 23k gallon pool and spa and it's getting cold, we turned on the heater expecting it to take days and possibly a week to warm up, this beast of a heater was significantly warm overnight, by 24 hrs it was at least 20 degrees warmer! Highly recommend this heater only time will tell the wear and tear on it but so far it has been very impressive, to heat up just the hot tub to 104 degrees it's takes 2-3hrs ... show more

The unit arrives in perfect condition. Instructions were straightforward. Had a contractor place a pad and install the unit as well as run plumbing. The connection to the electrical box seemed insufficient so we cut a hole in the panel and added a solid connection for conduit. The unit comes with 50 mm Inlet and outlet adapters but another adapter to connect 50 mm to a 2 inch PVC is needed. The app was easy to install and immediately came online once powered up. Our pool is 10,000 gallons so we are excited to see how quickly this unit can make the water comfortable. ... show more
