Description

This 10" x 54" mineral resin tank is commonly used with 48K water softeners and 1.5 cu. ft. back-washing filters. The tank is constructed of durable composite resin and reinforced with high-tensile strength filament windings. It resists corrosion and provides years of reliable service and has a 10 year manufacturer's warrant. The lightweight tank design makes handling the tank and installation fast and easy. Almond colored tank will be shipped unless a different color is requested (available in blue or black). The tank does not come with a distrubutor tube. You can order one for your specific application by contacting us.

After much deliberation, I replaced and rebed my fleck sulfur tank which was 23 years old and the media and gravel in the bottom turned to concrete. It was higher than my old tank and the plumbing had to be changed but the tank fit the clock part perfectly. Great product for the price.

    • 602abcWATER customer service is horrible
I purchased a Fleck 5600SXT 48,000 grain water softener system from 602abcWATER in June of 2016. The system had great reviews and worked well for the first two years. About four days ago I developed a constant drip from the drain line. I called today to get it repaired under the 5 year warranty that 602abcWATER boasts about. I was told that a constant drip from the drain line was "normal", which it is not. When pressed to fix the problem, I was advised that I would have to send the unit back, paying shipping both ways, and a $139 service fee. Only the parts were covered under warranty. This is unacceptable to me. I called the manufacturer and they diagnosed the problem over the phone and are sending the repair parts to me for free, including the shipping. I will never deal with 602abcWATER again and would highly caution others about their commitment to customers. The person I spoke with on the phone did all she could to make me think that a dripping valve was normal and that they had no liability. ... show more

A good replacement tank. Only issue will be warranty, it has to go through the distributor so I need to hope the amazon seller stays in business for 10 more years.
