Worked perfectly. Used to replace lower ball joints on 2012 Silverado, had air impact wrench with it. Also used it to reposition the bushings in the upper control arms before installation. Handy tool, I’m very happy with it.

Right after I received this Ball Joint Removal Tool Kit from CARVALAX, I quickly noticed the quality was the same as any loaner tool from your favorite auto parts store. The casting of all parts inside is well-made and heavy, even looking too good to be just a tool. Inside the case, there are plenty of the included sockets and adapters to do any type of repair on almost any type of car out there. The included carrying case is tough, but the latches to hold it closed are the only weak part, as they do not latch properly, and that's the reason I gave it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. I have a future project for my car, and finally I don't have that damn stress that I always have when I need to return some loaner tool to the auto parts store before the time window expires, making me keep an abused, stinky old loaner tool with mostly missing or broken parts.
