I had purchased 2 other units that were about $35 dollars less that state it’s as powerful as this pump. That’s a lie! They were not even close to the GPM they were rated for. I sent them back for a refund. THIS pumps works super quiet and pumps like no other. I had the exact same pump for over a year but left it outside in the freezing cold one night. It cracked something inside the pump and stopped working. That was my fault, I should have brought it inside that night and paid the price. I tried going cheaper to save a few bucks, and realized why this one is priced the way it is. It’s worth every cent! I fill a 100 gallon container everyday with this pump. It’s never let me down. This review is real, so if you’re looking for a high volume pump, this it it!

I received this item shortly after I ordered it. But when I tested it, it gave me a low GPM like 4-5 GPM. I contacted the seller who was very responsive and helped me figure out what's the problem. Then they finally decided to send me a replacement which I received today. I will try it this weekend and come back to update, but for the great customer service, I will give them a 5-star.

In my travels I see these Chinese pumps sold all over the world and have owned this specific pump almost a year connected to a 3600 gallon Rainwater Cistern that is used for irrigation. THE GOOD. 1) With an attached pressure regulator to a on/off switch, I can regulate pressure up to 65 max psi. I can pump 225/gal hour at 45psi to support 6 simultaneous sprinkler heads for up to 800 sq.ft coverage. Low Noise. THE BAD: 1) No Warranty. NO PARTS. Cannot Contact Seller or Manufacturer. Web Site is fake. No Customer Service. 2) Power cord undersized for current load. Cord size measures not quite 16 guage (17 guage). Pump draws 9 amps. The factory cord will likely not last more than a year before starting to overheat the motor. Before installing my pump, I replaced the factory cord with a 14 guage power cord designed for 12 amps. I found this design flaw (undersized power cords) common with pumps from China. 3) Pipe fittings and pump case fittings are NOT NPT (Tapered Thread). They are NPS (Straight Thread). NPS requires a flange, o-ring, or washer to seal. I read numerous complaints about leaks, especially leaks at the head. The nuts inside the cover for small fittings is not 100% sealed to the cover. Threads are NPS. You must use a flange or o-ring to seal against the outside of the cover and compress the cover to the nut. This is a very common problem with this thin walled stamped Stainless Steel head design.. The 1" NPS output is going to require a lot of sealant and torque to seal to an NPT pipe. AGAIN, NPT and NPS are incompatible. Difficult to seal. 4) Poor Assembly. Pump cover Allen head screws were not evenly torqued. Cover leaked. This was easily corrected by loosening all nuts and slowly retightening to a snug fit in an even cross hatch fashion. 5) NO PARTS available. Impeller and Diffuser inside pump are inexpensive plastic and would be very easy to replace if they became distorted from heat over time or in case a low water switch fails and they overheated or cracked from freezing, which happened to me in Texas Feb 2021 with loos of power for a heat lamp. I cannot order a replacement part. The inexpensive list price of this pump is bait. I don't have the time to deal with issues like this. It is just not worth it. MB - Austin, TX

With my home in Boise I have access to irrigation water 2 days a week. I wanted a simple garden pump that I could hook a hose or two up to for watering both our lawns and our vegetable gardens. After spending nearly $200 for a pump at Lowe's, it didn't work, I returned it for another, and that didn't work. I did a lot of research on Amazon trying to find the right pump for our application. I wanted something that was highly rated AND a good value. The Lanchez 1/2 HP Shallow Well Pump fit the bill! The pump was easy to set up, I filled the chamber with water to prime it, turned it on, and it works perfectly! It pumps like it should with more than enough power to satisfy our needs, even when running it through 150 feet of garden hose. We finally set up a splitter this week and it sends more than enough water to both hoses. We run it for hours and hours during our 2 day watering window and it doesn't have any issues so far. Based on the short term, I highly recommend it!

I use it to run two garden hoses pumping out of an irrigation ditch. For this it does well. I bought this one to replace the same model purchased two years ago. The seal let go and I am struggling to find a seal kit that isn't 2/3 of the new pump price. I wsh it had lasted longer but for $100 bucks.....

This pump provided the boost to pressure I needed to run my new sprinkler system and was very reasonable cost. I have inconsistent flow with the irrigation water where I live depending on others usage at the time. This pump solved that problem. Some of the reviews stated it was noisy but mine is running very quietly, almost do not register the sound difference. My sod (installing tomorrow) will be well hydrated thanks to this pump.
