This keypad works perfectly and it's super easy to program. I'm currently renting an older house with a Chamberlain garage door opener from 2006. Newer Chamberlains have wifi capability, but the one in my rental does not. Chamberlain offers a retrofit for older openers, but it's expensive and complicated. This is cheap and way better! Programming consisted of hitting the 'learn' button on the garage door opener and then just pressing a couple of buttons. In total that took about 30 seconds. Setting your code is similarly easy. Now I have a code enabled remote that can be mounted outside (it's intended use), but can also be carried along. I attached mine to my golf cart, and now I can open/close the garage door easily, and much faster than I could with the Chamberlain app. And the fact that it requires a code means that I don't really need to worry about someone stealing it and getting into my garage. Yes, the code is not perfect security, but it's probably no worse than a phone. If you choose (as I have) to use this as a portable device, you will find that the range is quite long. I can enter the code from a few houses down and it works fine. I also really like the backlit keys. If you're using this at night they are super handy. All in all, this is an exceptional product, which I can recommend without reservation. 5 stars!

Easy to install, as easy as possible to program, works well, but "inaccurate" instructions. This was easy to take apart to access the battery and mounting holes, and easy to get mounted to the aluminum trim covered wood frame around my garage door. It was "easy" to program, however the instructions that matched my garage door opener (red/orange learn button) didn't work; thankfully I decided to try the instructions for the other models, and one of them worked. After everything is set up, it works fine.

I was genuinely surprised by how easy this was to set up. It came with the battery already installed, so it was ready to use right out of the box. I had it connected to the garage door in under five minutes - and that’s coming from someone who still hasn’t figured out how to sync her car’s garage opener! There is even an option to create temporary codes in addition to the main code. The unit feels sturdy and has a nice, modern design on the cover. Highly recommend - I wish I had bought this sooner!

When it arrives the cover is a little tight and hard to lift, but not after installation. Easy install and program with a Chamberlain Whisper door opener. You can control more than one door with the opener, but each requires a different 4 digit code.

This garage door opener met my needs. I had two garage doors; however, when I moved in, only one of them was hooked up to an opener. I wanted the second one to also be on an opener. I opted for this one given the cost. Some negatives are that it only works with one door and the PIN number cannot have a zero in it, but if you already have one or only one garage door, this is a great option for the price. On the positive side, it was easy to program and came with a battery. Since I was aware of the limitations, this still met my needs.

Easy to install, program, and use! Nice that it comes with the battery pre-installed. I like the backlit keypad for easy viewing at night. Note that the 0 (zero) cannot be used in the code, but is used as the enter button. Enter your code followed by zero to open or close.

Works with LiftMaster garage door opener and is easy to program. Just note, if you usually use a code with a 0 in it, this programmer uses the 0 button as the enter button. You won’t be able to program any codes with the number 0 in them. Minor detail, but may be a deal breaker to some.
