It is THE cop rambar and fits my 2011 CVPI with zero hassle, was an exact match to the previous bar it had while in service, no cutting or drilling needed at all, simple bolt installation. I will say the only issue/thing I dislike is the fact the sticker is slightly off centered, not a deal breaker at all! Looks awesome and is super durable overall. A tip for people installing it with zero idea of how to do it is to leave every bolt loose on the brackets, put the bumper back on then sit the rambar on it so everything lines up proper. So when I put this on, it took me five hours that’s not a problem so when you go through it, you might have to do some modifications. Make sure you have a drill Some tools, quite a bit a of zip ties this will help when I put it on there, it looked great. When I set it up some part of the brackets was not cooperating You might have to fiddle with it It will be tough But after the process, it looks great. This car never came with one I decided to add one it felt fast when it didn’t have one on there. You can feel the front a little bit heavy. I wish it was made out of aluminum to be honest, but it’s better when you’re going through the back roads hitting a deer I haven’t yet so knock on wood trust me you’ll have a day with taking the bumper off if it’s not rough or broken I thrown away I replaced the old bumper thank goodness places sell them still in this age. It will be easy installation just a process the durability is great but the plate needs to be welded better good thing I’m a welder. Cost is ok if your interested in putting one like I did it’s worth it. ... show more

What more can I say other than this push bar is legit, it came well packaged and is clearly very durable. Mounting was a breeze but thats just because the previous mounting brackets were in the same spot that the pushbar needed to be in, so not much work needed on my end, but the instructions that were included were very detailed so no worries to anyone buying. This is definitely a must have for crown vic owners. I should also include this fit beautifully on my ‘10 vic, so it definitely fits those models. Shipping took 2 days from TX to LA, all hardware was included, well packaged, and installation is Alright depending if you’re doing it alone or not, i had help so it took 2hrs. I installed it on my 06 CVPI detective model. Brackets are durable and so is the guard itself. Looks great. Have another Crown Vic that i may get another one to put on it. ... show more

I would 100% recommend this bumper. It saved me and my car in a wreck today and had minimal damage. I hydroplaned and hit a wall on the interstate. I was able to drive it like 30 miles home after the wreck. I will definitely be buying a replacement.

I don't know why Amazon says it doesn't fit my 2009 CVPI, it's the exact same body/frame design from my understanding 1998 - 2011. Took me about 3hrs to install due to the pesky factory bolts rusted out underneath the bumper ended up snapping off. Had to replace those other than that pretty much a breeze. ... show more

Excellent quality item. It looks great installed. I’m very pleased with the bumper and recommend it for your Crown Vic PI. Only thing is beware of the shipping. Due to their incompetence mine was sent to California instead of Missouri. Huge geographical difference there. One of the mounting brackets is welded incorrectly, this make the product impossible to mount. Seller has provided information to get replacements sent from the original MFG. Seller has good communication and a MFG defect is not their problem. Product was exactly as advertised.
